I think Hall might be a keeper for the fourth line. It's nice seeing someone other than G winning faceoffs!

And I like Rosehill over Sestito!!!

I too like both those players. I went over to the rags site last night and after the game the sky is falling!

It has been 5 games for Mason is that right? with one win?
Not saying he hasnt played well, but how did Bryz look his first 5 games? I believe he was 4-1 with an amazing save percentage and everyone said "we got ourselves a goalie" then too.

So, in other words, like here for most of the season.

Played 3 1/2 really.

Won one, lost two.

.941 SV%, 1.82 GAA.

He has been really impressive, but it is a very small sample.

The most impressive thing is how athletic he has been IMO, made some absurd saves.

For me the most noticeable thing is how much better he handles the puck. I think he making life for our D men much easier.

the most impressive thing about Mason is that he doesnt suck like Bryz, especially when it comes to handling the puck

A telling point will be the inevitable 'floodgates' game, and how Mason responds to giving up 5+ goals.

Mason is OK, too. All Homer's trade deadline moves look good right now.

True, a few times he has saved the D from a tricky situation with two opposing forecheckers coming at one D man with his good puckhandling.

Mason is playing amazing! Rosehill over Hall and Sestito but Rinaldo over ALL of them. LOVE the way Lauridson fits in and been impressed by Huskins.

I didn't see last night's game (friggen DirecTV is out until Saturday), but it sounds like Mason did well. Any indication of who will start moving forward? Maybe ride the hot hand like we've done in prior years under Lavy?

Bryzgalov played well in a loss the other day and Mason got the next start.

I'm guessing that it is Bryz's turn next.

Talbot?

I don't think you need to dress both Rosehill and Rinaldo, but I'd be open to re-signing Rosehill as some goon insurance.

Rosehill is more of a 13th forward that you plug in every now and then. He definitely shouldnt play over Rinaldo or Talbot

Yup, he can skate and win fights. Two things Shelley couldn't do.

Yeah and like Shelley if we have a healthy roster Rosehill would play about 12-15 times a year here. no thanks.

You'll never have a totally healthy roster for more than a few games at a time.
