We win 3-2.

(That means we'll lose, since we never win when I DON'T predict losses either by not predicting at all or predicting a win)

Would love for Kristo to get the call up tonight, although I strongly doubt it.

We seem to play well against the Pens. I see a win.

Yep, they suck at defending on the transition.(Cue the foolish posts saying we "dominated" most of the time)

To his defense, they were pretty darn bad losses.

Yes, we are.

And not only on defence. When our toughest forward is a guy playing with one shoulder, you know you're in trouble.

As far as I know, he didn't lose a shoulder.

So I'm assuming Blunden and Dumont will play tonight then. Hopefully they can call someone up for tomorrow's game.

I think you're probably right. I was hoping Tinordi was brought up, still happy to see Beaulieu gain some experience, but realize he won't help us in the playoffs more than Tinordi or Weber. I do expect Tinordi to be called up at some point.

Putting a positive spin on this, it's still been valuable to have given Beaulieu a taste of the bigs and let him assess where he can improve. We'll be stronger next year for the mistakes he made this year.

Blunden or Dumont will replace White's spot as Prusty replaces Rydy on the 3rd line with Elly and Gally

Don't be a dumba$$.

He has a left shoulder injury and he has to do all the fighting job. You don't see any problem?

Lets start with not being embarrassed. If your going to lose, make it be two goals or less.

I would not be surprised if we're lite up like a Christmas tree.

Just in case, I hope the Pens have extra red light bulbs in storage.

He doesn't have to fight. And yeah, I see a problem. Too many people are losing their panties in this want for fights and toughness. Toughness and goons and fights didn't get us this far, to 2nd in the East and a locked up playoff spot.

Toughness is part of a team success.

You need a good mix. Right now, we are far and away from that mix. We are soft. How many hits we had last game? lol

Toughness is not solely measured in fights. Tomas Holmstrom was one tough dude, but fighting was not his main thing, it was parking himself in front of the net and then screening the goalie and/or battling for dirty goals and wreaking havoc.

I can replace Holmstrom's name with Galchenyuk, Gallagher or Gionta and the statement would still be valid.

Gallagher is the only one who plays a game remotely like that. The other two do not. And Gallagher is indeed a tough player. Arugably the toughest on the team.

As if the hits stat is relevant. You know who's last in the league in hits? The Chicago Blackhawks. Let that sink in for a bit. The President's trophy winning team is last in the league.

Do you want me to tell you the name of their tough players? The list is long.

Want me to start?
