I have heard MB say that "making the playoffs is the key, once you get there, you never know what can happen". He should not have told them that lol.The game against Toronto was not as lop sided as the score suggested, it was just Price hearing voices in his head again.

The game against Philly was just the team playing pickup hockey against a non playoff team that kicked their a**. I expect a different team tonight, re-focused and desperately needing the first goal. We are a different team when we score first, the guys play harder, skate faster and look much more confident. I am hoping for Eller to step up tonight and be a beast, we need him. Go Habs!!!

Appreciated.

With the way this team is playing the last 2, even if all of Boston supported us we'd still fail

Heavy game tonight. As much as I don't want to drop to 4th, it would be nice for Boston to win. Add some positive into an otherwise terrible situation.

Hopefully Boston wins for the poor 8 year-old boy.

It'd be nice to get a win against Pittsburgh in before we hopefully play them at some point in the playoffs

We seem to play well against the Pens. I see a win.
Would rather see Hudon.

Pens are in cruise control until the playoffs. Resting Malkin, Crosby, Neal are priorities. But the Pens still want to win and expect a good game. Up to two weeks ago, I thought the Habs would be the team to give the Pens the most trouble. The defense has not been as good and Price seems to have lost some edge. All things being equal, if Pens are healthy I just can't see them losing to anyone in the east.

I still can't bring myself to cheer for the Bruins tonight, but I can't cheer against them either.

However, I will allow myself to say this - go Boston.

I know, just saying, of the guys in that category in Hamilton, that's who sounds ready to actually play an NHL game if necessary. BTW, what's the holdup with that? Is he gonna start in Hamilton full time next year? What kind of contract do you need to be playing in Hamilton, but not for the Habs? (Cuz that's what he's doing right now.)

Now Iginla gets a taste of how the other Jokinen tastes like. From dreaming playing with Crosby to playing with Jussi Jokinen. I think that wasn't within his plans.

Let me put my two sense I'm here for all these ppl saying that Montreal isn't though cuz we don't hit, toughness is not measured on how many hits you dish it's measured by the Beating you take and get back on your feet and continue playing. Gallagher is our toughest player not because he hits everyone and fights everyone, he's our toughest player because no matter how many times he gets hit cross checked he gets back up and continues to play hockey. If you think gorges isn't tough remember last year when he blocked a shot with his head and there was a big dent his helmet and played next game that's toughness. He throws himself in front of shots with no regard for his body that's toughness and heart not because he can fight everybody. Chicago is in first not because of toughness but cause there a skilled team and play as team, you can call it team toughness similar to Montreal team toughness.

I agree with this and good to point out Gally.

If we play like a contender and our style of game, they can't catch us. If we stand around doing nothing, we'll get battered. Crisp passing, knowing where your other 4 guys are, having a plan of attack, clogging the neutral zone, getting your sticks in the way. That is how you win hockey games.

Show me where i say trade Pacioretty for Shaw?

On the other hand, if you ask me Paciorretty vs Simmonds, now that's interesting.

And for those who think that we have enough toughness in our club are just blind.

I'm actually happy to see Weber getting another chance. This is pretty much his last one as a Hab.
But he's paired with Drewiske...nothing against 44DD but that's a pairing that makes a coach sweat.
