I believe you would also eat his entire cap hit at that price. If Yashin goes down, there's no WAY he'd come back.

i dont think thats entirely true. I think you the team that sends him down(islanders here) would only eat 50% of his cap hit for the remainder of the contract if he is claimed on the way back up. Someone else would be able to explain better, its just what i recall.
