I'm glad we are having our worst moment of the season before the playoffs.
It might make for a great story. How the 2013 Habs, after showing such promise had to endure terrible adversity right before the playoffs. And how with incredible leadership they managed to bring it together in time... only to get torched by the Leafs facing humiliation by losing the final game in the Bell Center (that happens to be the 4th of the series, obviously we're going to lose home ice advantage).
I'm tired of the feeling that I get when we have bad stretches. Other teams have bad ones too, but why do ours always seem 10 times worse? Two blowouts in a row, and looking like a 3rd. Two blowout losses against the worst team to have a blowout loss to in the Leafs. Clinched a playoff spot and the world ****ing falls apart?
Why do we as fans deserve this? What did we ever do to the hockey world to deserve this? I can't watch this anymore. I need a break from the heartbreak.
Yes and no. Emelin wasn't all that great, but I like his game. The problem with Emelin being out is it completely ****s up the pairings. You have guys playing more minutes than they should. That's what hurts us. If we got a top 4 guy, we wouldn't be this poor IMO.
If Emelin's absence is causing this much havoc on your D then you have a pretty weak D to begin with.
BTW: Mario is one handsome dude.
I have to agree completely for once. The defense was unbalanced to begin with and now it's even worse.
