I was totally on the "MB did a good job by not giving up anything" and I still think this will benefit it for the future (IT BETTER!!), but given we were going into the playoffs strong, and seeing how this team looks now, I wonder if he couldn't at least try for something in between. Couldn't foresee Emelin, fine, but wow, when you have Boullion (who I actually like a lot) as your 4th and scrubs on your bottom pairing, I am starting to at least entertain the idea that Bergy set us up for possibly the most humiliating 1st rd exit against the leafs.
MT is starting to look ordinary and MB is starting to seem...well...shocked, which is not what you should be.
He needs to come back down and reverse what he said in Buffalo:
"I just want you to know that I'm ****ing NOT proud of you and your garbage play."
All it took is one key player to go down. And yeah, I do think it all stems from him. Everything is interconnected with this team. Diaz is our only hope and still, won't fix the physical, just maybe the tactical.
Jets fan coming here in peace..... When Emilin was injured before you guys played the Caps I got ripped apart on my own board about how Emilin wasn't that much of a factor.... Well, looks like I was right. In the last four games (tonight's game not included) the Habs have given up 16 GA. Markov looks lost out there without his partner. Here's to hoping for a strong finish for the Habs (maybe you guys can rest a few of your stars for the Jets/Habs game on the 25th .
Never even though of that, we played well against the Caps still (at least competitive) without Emelin lol. Has to be something else.
