You know, I think that Brodeur fellow is trying to break a streak of losses. Timely for him?

Plekanec wasn't very good today except for the first period, he has also been very consistent this year and without him we would be nothing. I wouldn't put it past him, Desharnais is just the definition of the player who manages to be terrible all game long and still get garbage stats, expecially with 24 seconds left. +/- means nothing.

The positives we stuck around and played it out till the end.

I think we come out tomorrow with a strong effort back at the bell center. Therrien will get things straightened out. I could possibly see some line changes too.

I would like to see sometime.

Pacioretty Galchenyuk Gallagher
Bourque Plekanec Gionta
Eller Desharnais Ryder
Moen Dumont Prust

Markov Beaulieu
Gorges Subban
Boullion Drewiskie

Frustration. He has been our best player bar none, and the last little while has basically become a man on an island. You can only expect someone, especially one young, to hold their own before the frustration mounts. If he's suspended for that gesture though...

Please get rid of all the shorties this summer. You can't compete with a lineup of little people.

Yeah, you're right. Should be more like DD, not give a ****, do nothing and watch your teammates get harassed.

Consider the circumstances.

Tired team that gave everything all year with injuries who just clinched.

They face the best team in their conference in the first game of back to back, which will be 2nd game of 3 in 4 nights.

Budaj gives up 2 softies early on.

What do you think happens ? You have certain players who are banged up who just decide to let the foot off the pedal and save energy for the next game.

This team cannot afford to have bad goaltending right now. It will expose all of our flaws.
First of all, you're probably the first person I mention the word agenda to... I just find it kind of lame how you choose to blame goaltending, especially after such an awful team game tonight.

I'd rather that than him to pout and moan over a loss. He knew the game was over and is putting it behind him - ready to roar for the next. It will be telling whether they team does the same.

L'Anti-Chambre are saying Therrien should not have put Price in there. But if we mount a comeback, they would say he's a genius.

And then pass up every opportunity to throw a hit. It's not your game, but hitting doesn't take skill.

Who says that not losing him wouldn't mean the same results? Was it preferable to lose Subban instead? The big deal is that this defense was average including Emelin. He got worse 'cause we lost him, but a better defense would have overcome a Emelin loss.

No one said that at all. I am happy he got involved. But act like a man, not a goof ball kid. Dont go all smiles and then laughing in the penalty box. His team was losing 6-3, he looked like a kid tonight not a man

I'm not a big fan of his reaction after the fight.

That being said... it's the least of my worries. He's been great all year, done and said the right things all year, he shows up every night. He was frustrated tonight, so I'll cut him some slack.

Probably.

The thing about PK, is he's the one guy I can't even blame if he did freak out. The aount of **** the guy takes is crazy. Can he fight? No. But you can tell he's frustrated. Maybe if we actually iced a tougher team he wouldn't be forced to have his head on a swivel and try to fight when he shouldn't.

Gallagher is another one who is getting destroyed and is out there fighting for dear life. Eller gerts rocked and Galchenyuk will start to get beat up. Prust can't do it all himself.

How do you beat the Habs? It's been the same for years. Hit, hit, hit....be aggressive, strong forecheck..hit hit hit.

And you can expect another blowout versus Washington if they don't get their game up.
Facing TB might just be what we need. Of course if we lose to them though our confidence will drop some more..
