Boris Mironov & Jarrod Skalde signed!

i was very bored and found these signings.

Skalde with Oji Paper of the JAPANESE LEAGUE, formerly of the Devils, Flames,Sharks, Blackhawks, Stars, Thrashers, Flyers, Ducks
seems his game either greatly feel off or Japan is making a push to form a semi decent pro league.

Mironov with Vityaz Podolsk Chekhov of the RSL after not playing since 03-04? just interesting because now and again someone asks what happened to Boris Mironov

more interesting players if you look

Best of luck to Jarrod heading to Japan!

For those that don't know him, he was a very very good friend of Dan Snyder. If you haven't read the book "A Season of Loss; A Lifetime of Forgiveness," by John Manasso, I highly recommend it.

Good to see a guy like Blake Evans, who got a raw deal, catch on with a team in Europe...

Muckalt leading the rookie scoring race till halfway through the season with the Canucks a few years back, then got injured and never played the same again.

I have that book right here in my desk drawer at work, I haven't made enough time to read the whole thing...I need to though.

Yeah, just saw Skalde today in a preseason game today.

Derek Plante is playing for the Nippon Paper Cranes who are Skalde's Oji Ice Hockey Club rivals up in Hokkaido. Plante dominated the league last season and surprisingly came back for another season.

Steve McKenna will be playing in Korea for Kangwon Land this season before going back to Australia to become head coach of the national team.

All these teams play in the Asia League.

I was wondering where Bobo the Clown went.

Skalde is well traveled. At the pro level he has played for 25 teams in 16 years

Sadly, Mike Smith is no longer a GM.

You know your team could very well have a new GM in the next couple of days?
