Under 5 goals against would be a moral win.

This match couldn't have happened at a better time.
A win here (regardless of how anyone sees it in terms of standing) is HUGE. Chances of winning are high..

Personally don't feel their is a lack of effort. I just think the confidence is really at its lowest. That and how some coaches may have figured out the Therrien system, which calls for him to make some adjustments. You need PLAN B right?

Les Boys showed some backbone yesterday after falling behind early....FINALLY! They didn't seem as defeated in the post game interviews, it seemed there was some pride and return of confidence there.

Tonight, they need to start the game at the same time as the other guys, then we'll see if this team has the cajones to fight thru their issues. If MT can bring back the SWARM® then we get a win.

That's what i'm thinking as well but I wonder with Budaj being pulled after the 1st if Therrien doesn't decide to simply go back to him. Anyways, who ever is in nets needs to have a big game and give these guys some confidence back

Has to be Price tonight and the team has to play the trap, plus avoid any risky pinches. Weve gotta play in a defensive shell until we get out of the first period.

Its so disgusting seeing Bouillon on the first pairing.

Diaz... we need you.

Gorges - Subban
Markov - Diaz

That'd be a nice Top-4, IMO. Add in Bouillon (who is a solid bottom pairing guy) and any of Drewiske, Weber, or Kaberle - and we really don't look that bad.

He's not ready yet.

I'd settle for Gionta and DD off the PP.

I never understood why Gio is on every ***** PP. Is MT afraid of veterans? There are much better alternatives.

He might not be ready but i'd prefer him in there over Blunden at this point. Tampa isn't much of a physical team

And yes get those 2 off the pp and give Eller and Gally that deserved ice time. Really don't know what Therrien is waiting for. But like I said before, those 2 assists that DD got last night that don't mean anything, will get him rewarded again by his coach

He's also ut every time we need to tie the game with the goalie pulled. Guy has absolutely no idea how to manage his personnel when it matters.

Still extremely soft for a playoff team. They will get eaten alive in the corners. But unfortunately, there is no other choice right now and that's the best possible lineup they can ice. Get to the puck first and move it out quickly.
