So is there something wrong with switching your wife-to-be's bridal march with Darth Vader's theme?

just while we are on the star wars thing I thought I'd ask

If it was the Stars only goal, and we won, i'd be cool with that.

Roy would have to score 2 though.

Just had a little moment where I imagined that I was watching the Canucks do the Stanley Cup pose and I was there watching it live...it was good.

I think we should probably make that happen, preferably this year.

One complaint I've had about John Garrett lately is that his commentary seems to be declining in quality. He used to have a lot of insightful things to say about every play. Nowadays, all he does is describe exactly what's happening on each replay. If the clip changes, he'll change topics entirely and start describing the next replay. He won't even be speaking in coherent sentences. There's no depth to anything he says anymore. As soon as there's a replay, he'll start to describe it in the plainest way possible.

"Oh, yes. Ryan Kesler, shot. Good tip in front."

*clip changes*

"... good save by Cory Schneider. Some pushing."

No they sure aren't. In fact, they control their own destiny. They have ROW tiebreak on Columbus and Detroit. I'm sure they will be fighting to keep control of their fate. Canucks can't mail it in with this game like they did in St Louis and expect to come out with at least a point.

My thoughts as well.

Amazing that they can trade Roy, Jagr and Morrow and still keep rolling along.

The original working title for Return of the Jedi was, in fact, Revenge of the Jedi. They even had promotional posters worked up for it.

Ugh. For once a late game would've been better for me.

As long as we win I don't really care though.

Well, if we're going with working titles, may I suggest a "Blues Harvest" if we play STL in the playoffs?

I hope Bieksa just needs to rest up and takes the time he needs for a full recovery. I want him going full on beast mode in the playoffs.

So by the time the playoffs start up, we should hopefully have Higgins, Booth and possibly Bieksa/Tanev back?
