Well, they better pull this one off tonight. Sitting in 327 tonight, first time sitting in that end of the arena this season. With the way the Jets have played in the second period the last few home games, hopefully I'll get a good view of pucks slipping past Nabokov.

I bought tickets for Saturday too in anticipation that it will still be a meaningful game, hope I'm right.

I saw someone with a Noel jersey at the open practice. First time seeing that one. abit risky since coaches don't tend to have a long shelf life.

I've got my entire stash of 50 fake vcash riding on the Canes, hopefully this will conversely ensure yet another glorious Jets victory. The Canes have a horrid D and have mailed it in over their last 10 games.

No excuses tonight. Win.

Go Jets Go!!!!

Coach Noel Topics: Size of the Hurricanes. His philosophy using top line vs. top line. Staying focused on his team. Does he need to worry about his team being ready to go? Getting up for every single game. Was it a good thing (i.e. wakeup call to his team) that Tampa came back from a 3-1 deficit? What has he liked about Pavelec during this stretch? (“He makes the save that needs to be made at the right time and that to me is a hallmark statement for a goalie”). What has enabled the teams to win at home? Does he have to keep the linup the same during a win streak? When Antropov returns is he back then?

I'm not going to this one so the Jets should be ok. In the past two seasons I've been to 2 games against the Canes, one last year, one this year. They've lost both of them, although every time I'm not there against the Canes they've won.

This has all the makings of a trap game. A loss here is better than a loss Saturday or Tuesday, though. Carolina isn't threatening for the playoffs anymore.

Thank god for the Jets channel, PVR's, and high def television
Hope she feels better soon.

Nabokov? Islanders game is Saturday.

On that note, Peters gets the nod for Carolina. Apparently has been playing much better since Boston lit him up.

I was going to start a Na-Bo-Kov chant during the first period. That could have been embarrassing

That said, still would like to see a lot of pucks getting past him tonight.

Last week's worth of games have been some of the most enjoyable hockey I've watched on Tv in a long time. MTS is noticeably loud from very early on. And another must win tonight.

GO JETS GO

Since I am going to the game, they'll probably lose

I've been to 15+ games, and the only win I've seen was the comeback against Pittsburgh, and the win against NYR on March 14

This is an amazing GDT, my favourite so far!

I am really looking forward to this game, as all the others coming up. Whether we make the playoffs or not (but we are!), I think we can all appreciate that this team has stayed into the race until the end.

Who needs draft picks when you have the playoffs

You should, uh, maybe stay home tonight.

I'm okay with going on his behalf. I'm 4-0 this year and we've outscored opponents 18-7.

Much harder to get tickets near the end of the season, I've noticed. Haha.

I attended the last Jets/Hurricanes game.

I was also there. I was terrified during the entire first shift. Just felt wrong. Then... goal.

We have learned from our mistakes. Burmi centres the first shift and it doesn't leave the Canes end of the ice

It seems too be there regardless. :p

Also, my bro is going tonight with his GF's dad. He's 4-0 in that situation. So... I hope that means something.
