Which team would you rather face?

If your team is in the lower bracket of the East, which team would you rather meet in the 1st round

Easily Montreal. Boston's just an all around better team, and Oveckin and co are on a tear right now.

In order to least to most
Boston
Washington
Montreal

If Buffalo somehow gets in, Boston.

Montreal, no question. They're going to get pounded over a 7 game series.

Not going to vote, but this thread could be an absolute epic bump for Habs fans if the Habs win in round one.

As a Habs fan, I would want to play Boston because Montreal beat them 3-1 in the series this year.

Washington. They are worse than Boston and NYR can't beat Montreal in the Bell Centre where we would play 4 games.

I'm a Habs fan and voted for Habs. Why? Because it'd be a win-win situation. xD I also expected everyone to vote for Habs too.

I think MTL will get underated in this thread, but for the Leafs they're my choice.

- Boston historically has our number the last few years. This year has been much closer though, still not a team I'd relish playing in the first round.

- Washington is on such a tear I don't think anyone would pick to play them, just got hot at the right time.

- Against Montreal Toronto has played its most dominating games this year, so I think its the matchup the Leafs would prefer. Regular season means nothing in the playoffs but I still the matchup I'd have the most confidence in as a bottom 4-seed for the Leafs.

Read this as team I would not want to play, and voted Habs.

As a NYR fan, that is the exact opposite of how I should have voted in this poll. Habs own us.

Give me the Caps. But I really want Boston first round, would be a fun series.

....If/when we make the playoffs.
