Also, it should be game to game "BASIS", not bases. Before you ask, I have posted my line preferences a bunch of times already:

Lucic-DK-Seguin (closest thing the B's have to Looch-Savard-Kessel)

Marchand-Bergy-Jagr (speed and chemistry between NFK and Jagr)

Soderberg-Kelly-Horton (couple of guys that can shoot or pass with responsible C)

Paille-Campbell-Pevs/Thornton (Energy line that can actually score a bit)
Thanks for pointing out the mistake.

with apologies to Corpfan1 here goes

Lucic-Krejci-Seguin (how the heck does Claude not see this)

Marchand-Bergeron-Jagr (Jagr may be slow and not great defensively but Bergeron is arguably best in game)

Soderberg-Kelly-Horton

Paille-Campbell-Peverley

Thornton

love this lineup- would roll if Claude would go for it (now gotta see if anyone else agrees or stole my lines)

Which one? The spelling or the lack of speed on the 1st line?

So, in other words, the same line combos I just posted?

DKH and I have been discussing since we found out Soderberg was coming. The Lucic is Lazy crowd may not like it, but putting Seguin with him gets his game going and creates space for DK and Segs.

Marchand seems to have chemistry with both Bergy and Jagr, and the other two make up for any of JJ's defensive deficiencies. As Dan said, the rest was easy. I thought Horton looked good with Kelly in the BUF game, and think Soderberg makes them even better.

Some will debate sitting Thornton, but he has not been fighting anyway, and Pevs is a much better player overall.

That's a deep lineup.

I don't know how folks can put lineups together without seeing what Soderberg looks like at this level.

I've commented several times on agreeing with GD's lines. But you can just as easily sub Pevs into the third line where Soderberg is proposed and you have just as an effective of a lineup (in my head anyway).

If it makes it easier:

Lucic - Krejci - Seguin
Marchand - Bergeron - Jagr

Plug and play Paille, Soderberg, Horton, Kelly, Peverley, Campbell, Thornton, Dogman however you like from there.

Soderberg-Peverley-Horton
Paille-Kelly-Campbell

Daugavins-Pandolfo-Thornton

I'm getting the feeling soderberg is going to be the next coming of rorseberg right out of the gate and I hope so. I just can't see julien starting him in the top 6 in his first game, hope he does though. I like the:

Soderberg-Bergeron- Jagr line

And I would actually like to see Paille and Cambell on the third, though I don't see it happening.

Here's what I'd like to see:

Jagr-Bergeron-Jagr
Jagr-Bergeron-Jagr
Jagr-Bergeron-Jagr
Jagr-Bergeron-Jagr

Good?

Until I see Sods play, can`t put him anywhere yet, he may mesh with some linemates while look lost with others, tell ya one thing, wasn`t too excited at the Jagr/Krejci combo, maybe my expectations were outta wack, all I heard from some here was how electric they looked when they played together in Europe

Like that has stopped people before? I'm pretty sure at some point, you have put together lines containing a player that had not competed at the NHL level?

We (myself incl) are constantly making up line combos that incl players that have been on other NHL teams (Jagr), players that still are (Iginla), junior players (Camara), AHL players (Spooner, Krug, Knight, etc), now SEL players. And the vast majority of the people that throw these lines together don't get to see the B's practice together, so we have no idea who is going to have chemistry and who isn't

Granted, we have seen players like Jagr and Iginla on other teams at the NHL level, but for the most part the "line combo" thing is an exercise of pure speculation and entertainment with the occasional bit of logic thrown in.

I still think Jagr/Pandalfo and Caron woulda been golden

Gotta be NESN or NESN +in New England? It was listed as the NHL Network's Friday night game as well, which gets blacked out here.
