Forbert did look good yesterday I thought. then again it was a solid defensive effort by everyone I thought. He is a big freakin dude. he was out there at the start of the game and hes standing on the blueline while they were doing their annual season ending booster club award ceremony and he towers over everyone. Probably going to need to put on some weight tho.

Tyler Toffoli has been sent back to Manchester. Expected to play tonight!

#confirmed Tyler Toffoli on a plane right now, joining Monarchs in Binghamton and is expected to play tonight. #playoffpushforManchester

I'm glad they the did this. It's better for Toffoli to playing in this kind of intense playoff hockey. Plus it's a big bonus for the Monarchs in this final push to make the playoffs!

I don't know why the Kings kept him up and not playing when Manchester needed him.

^^^ This is exactly what I want to know. It doesn't make sense for the guy to be a healthy scratch the past two weeks

This. If he didn't play when Penner was on IR, why not send him down when Pens was activated? Not sure why Darryl elected to keep him.

They kept him up so he could learn what I takes to stay up and the work ethic need, it's also very beneficial for him to practice daily with pros than in the AHL. Toffoli has nothing left to prove but he should be even better now for the monarchs because I'm sure he learned a lot and it will benefit him and the team in the playoffs

I agree.

The length of time at this time of the year seemed a bit excessive but every day here is/was only a benefit to TT. He will come back up at the end of the Monarchs season and be better ready for next season .

Vey continues to lead the team, setup the tying goal and scored the go-ahead goal to open the 3rd.

Awesome win! 5th in a row! Hershey did win tonight. But, Connecticut lost! Norfolk is down 5-1 in the 3rd! So Monarchs have moved into a playoff spot!!!

Linden Vey is a beast! Should've won MVP imo.

highlights from last night's 2-1 win over the Binghamton Senators. Looks like Martin Jones was huge last night!

Monarchs plays the Wilkes-Barrie/Scranton Penguins today at 4:05 PST. The Monarchs could potentially clinch a playoff spot tonight.

Unbelievable run by the Monarchs. I hope they can do some damage in the playoffs.

Incredible run to make it, especially considering Clune and Hickey were lost in January, Pearson was out with an injury for a while, and Toffoli was called up.

How Cool is that!!!!

I will be in CT for one of the games (I think game 3) and am excited to watch the kids. So happy that LV BK and TT are doing great up front and that Nik D is starting to live up to his potential as well.

Congrats to the Monarchs.
