Yep. If we can't score with a 3+ minute 4 on 3 advantage I hope we lose the game. Hawks don't have any business winning if they can't convert on that.

And that is expected for a 21/22 year old defenseman in the NHL...actually it is surprising how incredible Leddy has been this season and I don't remember him having very many bad games. Statistics would show that he has played favorable matchups and lower competition than others(not since being paired with Seabrook though), but even with those stats he has exceeded my expectations defensively and offensively this year no doubt. He took a huge leap from last year defensively...and a lot of that is on Q taking him out of the dumb/idiotic situations that he put him in last season like on the PK when he clearly wasn't ready.

Just glad Q didn't ruin Leddy's confidence by throwing him to the wolves last year. Leddy has the talent to be the best defenseman on the team in a couple years and he will be if he keeps making strides like he did throughout the year and over the offseason.

Just a bad game for him tonight...no denying that though. Seabrook/Brookbank don't do him any favors though.

He did. I didn't see the stick come up and only saw a weak hook.

Eddy mentions the key....A ONE-TIMER...DOESN'T STOP THE PUCK

Incredible how that works when you don't give the defense and goalie time to adjust and move toward the puck, deflecting, blocking or saving the puck. Just baffles my mind how a one-timer could work like that!

Agreed. Leddy is easily the most talented of all of our blueliners. If he fully realizes his potential he'll be a scary player.

We definitely need more one-timers, especially from our blueliners (Keith missed a great opportunity at the end of the 3rd).
