A good night for the flyers, oilers and flames win.

We gotta lose to Carolina tomorrow, that's gonna be tough I think.

I see zero chance of that happening unfortunately. As of right now around 5% chance if getting jones!

I see both teams firing pucks into their own nets.

Kovalchuk's back for the Devils.

A bit surprising at this stage.

Thats good, we need them to win. There's no chance we catch Florida at this point, and frankly, I don't care. Highly doubt they'd take Jones over MacKinnon/Drouin. Then again its not like Jones will be there with the Avs ahead of us anyway.

These guys are ultimately competitors, and I don't think the Devils are eliminated yet

Jack Edwards: "Nominating [Matt] Cooke for the Masterton is about the equivalent of nominating Sirhan Sirhan as prisoner of the year."

He actually took it a bit further--noting that Cooke had essentially "assassinated" Marc Savard.

A true talent for understatement, that one.

I know Edwards is a big time homer but he's at least funny with it.

And Cooke throws an "odd" hit.

He's reformed, though.

I once had a pens fan tell me on the main boards that Cooke isn't scum because he has a family and runs a charity.

I know we hate the Penguins, but there was nothing wrong with that hit. McQuaid awkwardly tried to avoid it and put himself in a weird position.

Haha, solid logic right there.

I'm curious...what is the charity? Grievously injuring players and donating them to various doctors?

I believe his wife had some type of cancer. I mean don't get me wrong it's great that he does it but that doesn't take away the fact that he intentionally injured players for over a decade.

The family thing is just moronic. I know plenty of ***** who have families.

4-2 Devils now. Florida must of realized who they were after that 2-0 lead.

Here's an article about Edwards calling out Cooke during today's game. Videos included in the article.

I just really want Boston to go full-troll on the Pens. I don't think any team in the NHL is better at it than them.

They don't though, which makes no sense. They could also gang fight and thoroughly beat the **** out of that team too.

There was no reason for Cooke to lower himself there. It was odd.
