Yeah but most knowledgeable people know the difference.

How anyone can mistake Czech Republic with Chechnya either speaks volumes of their education or they're just plain stupid. Or both.

What a weird sequence

I think that's a good goal, went off a Czech helmet

No goal, wtf?

its not about the year of birth, but about their playing style mainly.

I'll be shocked if the Americans don't win gold in this tournament.

I was making the connection that the U.S. team of this year 1995 is not a strong as last year's team of 1994 born players thereby this year's group defensive game may not be as refined as what we've seen of the Americans over the last 5 years at this tournament. They've come back to the pack a little, and perhaps a few other countries their 1995 group is stronger than past years. Russia has some good 1995 players. Canada's group of 1995 born players is excellent... much better than the 1993s and 1994s.

I think we played pretty well in the first period. Had several chances on the odd man rush but overally we were active, good skating.. I was pleasantly surprised.
But the start of the second period was horrible.. we were slow, not vigorous at all.. then we shook up a little and played OK..
sadly I didn't see the third period because of broken stream...
I really liked Zdrahal performance

At least they scored a few, but penalties.....they'll never learn. Three minutes of 5-3 should result in at least one goal for the Swiss, guess we lucked out this time.

the confusion about Czech republic may be coming from the fact, that during the chechen wars russian soldiers called them "chehi" which in proper Russian means the Czechs.

Or the more obvious reason that Americans these days suck at geography (which is fairly well known).
