Yankee and Dodger stadiums (and maybe more) to host NHL outdoor games?

A little early, but some reports starting to surface that the 2015 Winter Classic will be held at Target Field in Minneapolis. I suppose since all 3 teams in the New York area will be involved in the Yankee Stadium games next season, that opens up other markets which haven't had a game yet. If the reports hold true, it would be the 3rd outdoor game for the Blackhawks.

A Minny Winter Classic should be Wild-Jets, in order to cement that new rivalry, but of course NBC won't let that happen. Bruins-Habs at Fenway or Stade Olympique is another one the NHL should consider or Blues-Hawks in St. Louis.

No one would watch any games involving Winnipeg here.A lot of Americans dont even know what Winnipeg is.

No offense, but I don't think many Canadians outside of Manitoba would watch a Jets outdoor game either.

Hotstove: Outdoor games will generate big revenue

Edit: estimated $30m **per game** revenue (or $180m total, $90m toward players portion). Part of a plan to add $1B to revenue over the next few years (including World Cup and more).
