Quick Flames, sign everyone in the off-season! Trade Baertschi! You can make the playoffs next season!

Flames suck but I always enjoyed watching Kipper play. Tier 1 goalie.

Indeed.

I hope he decides against retiring.

Garth Snow might be the most underrated GM in the NHL.

Everyone laughed at him for the Visnovsky and Nabokov deals.

And now they're playing key roles in the Islanders playoff push.

This Isles/Jets overtime might be more exciting than the entire Oilers season.

Could set the excitement bar any lower?

Guess we can chalk up Colin MacDonald as another effective bottom-sixer the Oilers let get away.

Leafs just got screwed in the same fashion that we did against the Kings a few games into the season.

Phaneuf scores, it's called a goal on the ice, the refs then reverse there call.

It should've been a goal too.

I went to that Flames/Ducks game last night with a buddy who had free tickets.
It was Fan Appreciation night at the dome and it blew ours out of the water.
They were giving out a flames scarf with every ticket, all the concessions were 50% off, and they were giving out ipod/ipads throughout the game.

At Rexall, we got a free small popcorn.

So at what point do people get fed up being treated like third rate fans and start doing something about it?

This org hasn't given a **** about its fans for decades.

Remember this is the org that looked around at what all the other clubs were doing to honor the fans at the start of the year and boldly stated. "Our fans don't want that, they want a winner" and promptly delivered another season of nothing to the fans.

**** em.

Raffi Torres with 17EV pts this year playing 13mins night. Only one player on our club has more EV/pts/60mins then Torres.

I should mention as well that Torres spends much of his time with a mix of bottom six and top six and still finds away to produce, throw big hits, be hard to play against etc.

Meanwhile instead the oilers get fodder like Mike Brown who is a completely useless hockey player and brings nothing to the table. "but he's just what this team needs"

If Torres was on the Oil this year he'd probably have the worst EV/pts/60min/peartree on the team.

lol, Torres has more EV pts this year than any of our bottom six lines.

A good laugh as well that the Sharks fans consider Torres an improvement over Clowe, who isn't missed at all in SJ, who most posters on this board wanted while still pissing all over Torres from years ago.

Grass always greener and all.
