Can't rely on others to win your games for you.

Remember what happened when the red sox relied on the yankees to NOT get swept in their last series? Yeah...

I think we're finally seeing the Habs fall back down to earth. IMO, the talent on their roster does not justify their position in the standings.

I truly enjoy seeing the Habs get their ass whipped. Always have, always will, just wish that the Rangers could do it the way the Caps are.

I can't vouch for the math as I do not math but this might help.

I have faith in the Leafs beating the Senators tonight in regulation time.

I HIGHLY doubt that the Rangers will coast at any point for the rest of the season (at least not on purpose).

My statement was only stating what I felt the Rangers had to do to clinch 8th place.

Hate Montreal and their obnoxious and classless fans. Hey Montreal "Nananana Nananana Hey Hey Goodbye!".

The Canadiens clinched, and after that not so good. Plus, the loss of Emelin has caused them great problems.

So, that makes me ask, how good are they really?

Also, the schedule has the Jets finishing on Thursday and the Rangers finishing on Saturday with a game at home against the NJ Devils. There are no relevant games on Friday thus far and there won't be unless the Islanders lose their next 2.

Holtby is an improving goaltender.

Good on him, and I like his attitude.

Ole Ole Ole will not be sung tonight.
Let the Habs fans stew in their unhappiness. Let them go home supremely unhappy, knowing that their vaunted heritage has not meant a thing since 1993.
Habs fans are insufferable. Their pain is my joy.

Boston going to have two games in hand, and be only two points behind the Habs. Beggars can't be choosers, but out of the Pens, Habs, Caps, and Bruins; I'd like to see the Bruins in round 1. This of course assuming Washington and the Jets do not switch spots, as then I'd LOVE the Jets in round 1.

However, let's just get in!

Ottawa is within range. Capitals are out of picture for us as far as the hunt for 8th is concerned.
