Embrace the failure we are now seeing from Therrien. In a couple of months, you can always tell people that we were once 2nd in the East.

Just like those who still hang on to the fact that we took the Stanley Cup winning Bruins to Game 7 in overtime.

Lost 5 of 7 since Bourque returns to the lineup.

He possibly disrupted the forward chemistry big time.

DD had been cold for a long while before that, it was only a matter of time before Plek/Eller lines couldn't keep up. Especially since Eller has had his ice time reduced for playing well.

I watched the game on the NBCSports channel. All they had was the feed from the Capitals announcers.

Yes, those guys were homers. But in the third period, they said something that rang true regarding what our biggest problem is.

The homers said that Adam Oates has stuck with the same line combinations (as best he could with injuries) throughout the season.

Anyone who has played competitive team sports understands why this is so important, especially in hockey. Players on lines who work together and are successful tend to know where their linemates are on the ice and where they are likely to be and the passing is much more accurate.

We have seen that all season long from the Habs. The best passing in years.

Bourque comes back and the 1st and 3rd lines were blown up. Prust demoted to the 4th which is a waste of his talent. And now the 2nd line has been blown up as well.

And some people are wondering why the Habs looked so bad for the last 6-7 games. No chemistry. No synergy. Players are trying to figure out where to go with the puck instead of acting on instinct.

Tonight I saw more passes to nowhere and no one than I have seen since last season. The team dynamic has been destroyed by Therrien.

Three games to go. Will Therrien have enough sense to put the lines back the way they were when Bourque was out and we were winning games? Or will he continue the madness and hope for the best?

It's settled then, we're trading Bourque to the Oilers for their 2nd. Four 2nd round picks, not too shabby if you ask me, looking forward to the draft!

We dont have to go that far.

Just put him on the 4th line with Moen and Halpern.

And then Pleks with Ryder and Gio
DD with Pacioretty and Gally
And Eller with Chuckie and Prust.

That's how we got here..........

We would have been last place to start the season without Bourque's line carrying the team for the first 10-15 games. He gets a free pass until the playoffs to re-find his game.

I was just kidding...the points aren't coming from Bourque but he's played well overall this season. When MT finally wakes the **** up and separates Patched and DD I'd like to see Eller playing with Patches to see if they can create chemistry and see if Galch and Bourque can help each other out too seeing they both play aggressive

Ryder - Plekanec - Gionta
Gallagher - Eller - Pacioretty
Prust - Galchenyuk - Bourque
DD - Halpern - Moen

The Bourque at the beginning of the season is not the same Bourque on the ice right now.

He is getting a free pass and look at what that pass has done for the team with its disruption of its formerly awesome chemistry.

I'd rather move Eller up, slide Prust in with Galchenyuk centering the third and put DD on the bench or the fourth line. DD has chemistry with nobody this season. He needs a "wake the hell up" timeout like Eller got after one freaking game.

The two lines that should not be messed with.

Pleks Ryder Gio
Eller Chuckie Prust

That doesn't make a lick of sense. Do you have eyes? Has he been the reason, in your eyes, that the D look inept and the goalies look like sieves? That Desharnais loses every battle?

No.

Get a grip.

Seriously. I think the forwards are having a difficult time producing because the puck is always in the habs zone. The defence is getting pushed around too much. the goalies arn't making timely saves. The habs always used to score first... now they let in two goals in the first 10 minutes.

Hans of stone. We might be challenging for 1st if he converted the bazillion chances he gets (as well as eeeasy passes to a wide open man). He is exactly how I remember him as the Tank Master of 2012, seemingly having gotten the memo to put it wide with absolutely nothing stopping him from scoring.

In essence, he is Chucky's father.

Michel Therrien III: Je suis mieux de comprendre.

Ya Bourque has only been bad post-concussion. I wonder if that's why he sucked last year. Wasn't he recovering from one then?

He was recovering from a suspension for giving Backstrom a concussion which was immediately after he gave somebody else a concussion.

I wonder if Therrien has consulted with his magic 8 ball tonight.....

Do I put the DD line back together?

The 20 answers inside a Magic 8 Ball are:

● It is certain
● It is decidedly so
● Without a doubt
● Yes definitely
● You may rely on it
● As I see it yes
● Most likely
● Outlook good
● Yes
● Signs point to yes

● Reply hazy try again
● Ask again later
● Better not tell you now
● Cannot predict now
● Concentrate and ask again

● Don't count on it
● My reply is no
● My sources say no
● Outlook not so good
● Very doubtful

From practice it seemed like the third category was taken out. Or at least what people posted as lines in practice.

I dunno guys, I am disappointing.

Time to put the kid line back together with Prust, now that they both have NHL experience......MT has tried every other combo.........He`s being way too patient with Price......As much as people hate to admit, Budaj has been the better goaltender.

We aren't winning any series with Budaj in net. What have you done for me lately not with standing.. even though Budaj got pulled in his last start and went 2 for 3 in relief (AKA the issue does not solely lie with porous goaltending, though it is not helping matters).
