Does anyone know where I can order the old green alternate? I've wanted that jersey for YEARS. I can't find one anywhere. The ones on ebay are either fake or ridiculously priced.

Took me a while to find that jersey too. I just kept searching eBay and something eventually turned up. I eventually found the jersey from a seller in Virginia. Got it for $25.

That gives me some hope. I'll keep an eye out. Thanks.

I'm in Canada too, but the jersey I found was from eBay.com, rather than eBay.ca. Sometimes American sellers will only list the United States for shipping, as did the one I bought from, but there was also a note that he'd ship to other markets for an added cost. Just something to keep an eye out for.

Keith Yandle to give 'Martin Richard' jersey to family of 8-year-old bombing victim

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/nhl--ke...215816073.html

Quote:
Keith Yandle will not auction off the Phoenix Coyotes jersey he wore in warm-ups Saturday night to honor Martin Richard, the 8-year-old hockey fan who died in the Boston Marathon bombings last week.

The family has reached out to say it would rather have the jersey itself.

Yandle hopes that one day, when the Coyotes’ season is over and he’s back home in Boston, he will be able to deliver the jersey to the family personally. He hopes to go with his wife’s uncle, Sean O’Brien, a Boston fire lieutenant who was on the scene of the bombings, and O’Brien’s 9-year-old daughter, Ava, a classmate and close friend of Richard’s.

“It’ll be tough,” said Yandle on Monday. “But it’ll be something they wanted, and it will be special giving it to them.”

Yandle is just awesome, for so many reasons. No wonder the guy is so popular in the locker room. Trading him would be greater than the sum of his parts for sure, if I'm DM I'm very wary of letting that kid go!

I saw this on many of the other boards and not on this one. It is asked that none of us at HF talk about the recent lawsuit filed by Brian Burke anywhere. You can read the article to get a great idea why and it is best to not discuss it anywhere here or post any of those links for that matter.

Hey guys

Avs fan just wondering on the status of Dave Tippett (would love him to replace Sacco). Heard Tippett's and Maloney's contract are up this off-season, when exactly? And how are contract extensions going, if any?

It appears that Tippett wants to stay in with the team but the ownership issue is going to be the key to Tippett staying or not. It's possible too that with Don Maloney working well with Tippett that both would be available as the whole package should the ownership mess not get settled.

@davest4yotes: Per Don Maloney: Smith, Hanzal, Vrbata, Boedker, Moss among #Coyotes going to play at World Championship. More likely

I believe contract terms end on June 30. Many are assuming if the team stays in PHX both will sign. If the team moves all bets are off. My guess is if they're wanted in their landing spot, they'd sign and move with the team. They have a lot invested in this organization and its players, and I think they'd want to see that through.

Fox News commentators keep talking about how "unlikeable" a figure she is ... am I the ONLY one who thinks she's hot?

Why do they even bring that up anyway, no one should be dolling out justice based on likability.

Should, but this is nothing new. Casey Anthony is hot and OJ Simpson was likeable. Juries of our peers ...

This has a bigger impact than most people want to believe. In class action lawsuits, lawyers always select the figurehead by how sympathetic they think a jury is likely to be to that individual. Character witnesses are often selected by how trustworthy the jury will think the witness is.

It's human nature; most people will respond more favorably to a little old lady than they will to a burly man covered in tattoos.

Oddly enough, there are specialists and consultants that lawyers can hire to make their clients more likeable; coaching them on things like appearance, the tone of their voice, etc.
