You are Marc Bergevin, who is your last buyout this summer?

Mods, plz feel free to close the other poll, Kaberle is undoubtfully the last buyout but what I wanted is to know fans' opinion on the matter..

So, Who would you buy out? The last Kaberle season contract or the idea to play Moen and Bourque for 3 more years is something you cant deal with..

Kaberle that's the reason he isn't playing at all because they don't want him injured because then they can't buy him out

ok, look...

i would buy out Moen right now unless he ends up finding his game again during the playoffs.

i doubt Bourque will be bought out because of the strong season he had before he got concussed. the only negative about him is that he's been somewhat of an enigmatic talent that can string a good year or two together and then just disappear.

so in the end, i really don't know.

Didn't you already make this thread like 30 minutes ago? My answer is still Kaberle

The others can be traded for a 5th round pick.

How is Desharnais even an option? His contract isn't even in effect. I'd get infracted if I were to properly describe just how bright including him as an option for buyout is.

And Kaberle. Obviously.

Useless thread, theres a reason he's not playing.

Logic says it's Desharnais.

Kaberle has only one year left. DD, on the other hand, will be crippling this teams offence and cap space for the next 4 years.

He has not received a single cent of his contract yet. I'd like to smoke a sample of your ''logic''.

Imagine how stupid the management would look if they somehow managed to buy out Desharnais' 4 year contract

I'd like to smoke what ever is was that Bergevin was on when he gave Desharnais a 4 year contract one month ago.
Do you think Bergevin would make the same decision one month later?

Moen. Demote Bourque to make up for the loss and try to sign Pascal Dupuis in the off-season to obtain grit.

He signed him for 4 years tho, not one month. Where is your crystal ball telling of his play in two years?

And the correct adjectives to describe the inclusion of Desharnais in a buy-out related poll are still infraction worthy. They would likely invoke the church, in french, as well.

I would like him on the team. Just seeing the reaction from some people here if we acquire him would make my day.

There should be an 'all of the above' option... Although it's impossible.

Voted Kaberle in both threads!

The others can still be traded if we really want to get rid of them...

And there's something to be said about overreacting after a bad stretch and the bipolarity of our fanbase...

Kaberle no doubt. Sure, Bourque and Moen are not playing up to par, but are movable through trade, Kaberle most likely is not. Desharnais? Bergevin just gave him an extention. People need to calm down. The guys is making 3.5 not 7 mil. It's not because Gomez is out that we absolutely need to bash on another guy. Sure, he's definately not playing like last year but comon...this is getting ridiculous.

Bourque, desharnais and Moen shouldn't even be in discussion. Less than optimal seasons for those 3 but not end of the world.

Why would be buy out someone who still has trade value?

Moen, Bourque and Desharnais can all be traded for something, it might not be great returns, but it would be better than letting any of them go for nothing.

Here's what you do:

Kaberle = Buyout
Desharnais = Traded
Moen = Traded/Waivers
Bourque = Keep
