Show never should've existed in the first place.

reportedly was killed back in Feb when they allowed the contracts to expire with only a free hold call back option (meaning that people involved in the show could say no if the show did get renewed)

No surprise really. I didn't mind the show but it seems like I am in the minority on that 1.

This.

I really have no idea how they could think three Seth MacFarlane shows in the same programming block was a good idea, especially with the respectable popularity of King of the Hill which it replaced.

I had a friend who hated it but watched it for David Lynch's voice acting.

I actually really liked Cleveland on Family guy, but ******* I hated the Cleveland show, just awful. I'd love to see some new King of the Hill episodes, hell I can't even find re-runs anymore.

I think they are on Fox at like 1AM. Or at least they were a few months ago.

As a KOTH fan I'd be all over it, but look at the simple fact that FOX haven't even bothered to release the DVDs past season 6, and only region 1 got season 6 on DVD. If KOTH was really that popular they'd have released them all the way no? And I think it's cancellation was written on the wall long before The Cleveland Show was being televised, I think FOX just needed a decent enough of a show to try and replace it with.

A fresh new KOTH would be great but IMO the last few season got really really stale, a standard story line would be Hank would be horrified that Bobby/Peggy/one the guys/whomever would do something whacky and then Hank would stoically try and remedy the situation.

I watch it but (as with most the shows I watch) it's on in the background while I pay roughly half-attention. It's not great but it's not horrible. I DVR it each week but I won't miss it. There had been some really funny moments on it here and there, but I can't even remember what they were so take that FWIW.

I'd love to see a KOTH return though. I forgot that it was canceled for this. I believe my initial reaction back then was like:

Good. That show is not funny at all. Cleveland wasn't an interesting character on FG to make a whole series about anyway.

I think there should of been a Quagmire show to be honest.

I'm still a big fan of MacFarlane and both FG and AD but I never understood a) why CS was created in the first place and b) why it wasn't instantly cancelled again. Awful series.

This show should have been cancelled 2 minutes into the first episode.

I talked to a lady in the FOX Video Dept. about 3 years and she said that FOX had no plans on releasing any more KOTH Season Sets or a Complete Series Boxed Set. However - this proves that FOX was planning on releasing Season 7 at some point back in 2006.

Here's how one KOTH fan thinks the Complete Series should be packaged if FOX ever decided to release it. Not too crazy about the last one but the first two are freaking incredible.
