Nice goal. If the guy plays well in these last two games, and grabs another point or two, he may be able to make a case for a contract. Still, being blanked on the scoresheet for the first 8 or so games didn't do much to force management's hand.

This team doesn't score goals, you can't be serious.

Yes, but Archambault was already in a perilous spot before being the PTO for the 'Dogs. He needed to prove his worth to warrant an ELC, and with his stats he hasn't been making much of a case. I've also heard that, apart from some memorable moments, he's been fairly invisible on the ice.

Dogs lose 5-1. Looks like the Habs and Dogs may finish the game with the same score... forgettable night.

There's no way in hell he's not getting a contract. Tons of room to sign him. Too much skill to not even try and work with him on his faults.

oh yeah and i was wondering if you can buy Bulldogs games after they're finished.

I want to buy tomorrow's game but I won't be awake in time to see it. Can I buy it after it's done?

Yes you can, and you save 3$ by doing that.

I watched him live in Cedar Park Texas a few weeks back and he reminded me of a Brad Marchand type. Excellent skater who mucks it well very nicely. I came away impressed with him and Charles Hudon.

Tinordi and Beaulieu are co-winners of the Bulldogs' best defenceman award.

Beaulieu wins the best rookie award and Hamilton Spectator's MVP.

Dumont wins the Bill Sturrup award for the athlete of the year.

Last game of the miserable season !
If anyone has a chance to catch the game, please share your thought about Kristo, Hudon and Collberg.

Huge SH breakaway by Leblanc who was pokechecked at last second by the goaltender.

After a softie allowed by Chouinard, it is 0-1 for Amerks after first period.

Kristo had seven SOG yesterday nite (many from distance), he is quieter today, hopefully he will finally score his fisrt ahl goal.

But the best dogs player so far, imo is Hudon. Always at the right place at the right moment. This guy has high hockey IQ. He would be a superstar with a few inches and many pounds more...but would'nt probably be playing for the HAbs....

So impressed with Hudon. Such a smart player, always on the play, starts most of the offense for Hamilton. Most visible Dogs player by far.

Collberg showing good tools. Good positioning, great release and smooth smooth skating.

Kristo showing flashes with some good passes but expected him to use his speed more.

Beaulieu is their best D, making offensive plays few players can.

Dogs are already assured to be last in AHL.
Let's hope they win this one and the can start a revival like the Habs next season.
Same with Leblanc. He will recover from this season.

Beaulieu's behind the back pass led to a turnover which ended up in the back of the net. Hudon continues to impress, not bad for the youngest player in the league. Going to be fun when he joins Hamilton around this time next year. Too bad Collberg didn't score on shot from the slot, thought it was going to get it. Also wasn't sure if Hudon got that goal, I know he was right there but couldn't tell if he tipped it or if it was all St-Denis.

He's not skilled enough to overcome being small and having poor hockey sense. I'm sure we can find a better player to sign.

Beaulieu just kicked Luke Adam's ass in a fight!

Now Collberg playing the point on the PP.

Good for Beaulieu because Adam dropped them first and tried to grab him right away. Made him look like a fool and a gave him shot on the ground for good measure.

Bulldogs lose the final game of the season 4-1. Despite the score I though Chouinard played well.

Olivier Archambault had a quiet game. He laid a questionable hit, but other than that he didn't do a whole lot. He looked great in the first two games of this 3 in 3 and great in first two games of his professional career.

Sebastian Collberg played good, especially in the third period. Both his wristshot and slapshot are NHL level. I really liked how hard he skated and how much he tried to engaged himself in the play. Very quick hands, but his passing was fairly poor.

Charles Hudon was awesome, like always. He's such a smart and creative player. He made lots of good passes and was very active offensively. He made some good plays defensively. I've been very impressed with how many board battles that he wins despite being the youngest player in the league.

Danny Kristo had a pretty quiet game. He made some nice plays and showed his skill level, but didn't do anything with consistency. I can't say I've been impressed in the 9 game stint.

Brady Vail struggled to produce offence, but then again he was playing with Hagel and Stortini. He did lay some hits and looked good on the penalty kill. He impressed during his stint, more offensive upside than his year in Windsor would lead you to believe.

The rest of the awards:
Louis Leblanc wins the Premium Player of the Year Award.
Robert Mayer wins the Molson Cup.
Nathan Beaulieu and Gabriel Dumont win the Leading Scorer Award.
