I think Versteeg's habit might have rubbed off of JVR in his short stint with Philly. Because I don't recall JVR chewing his mouth guard til that year. And yes I agree, it's pretty freakin annoying.

Definitely a stupid play by Brennan though.

I like it too.

"Who the ****s 14 year old son is in my team's bench?"

Its funnier cause there is a thread about it on the main board with a bench of people complaining that its dangerous and classless. TJ Brennan doesn't give a **** about your opinions.

Nope just you, some guys do weird stuff its just what you grow up doing and what your comfortable with. Jagr puts a peice of orange/red tape at the bottom of his and puts a cross on it, why doesn't that bother you?

Yeah, in hindsight it is funny, as Gionta is OK. But he could've gotten seriously hurt there. This was like a slewfoot, except much worse.

3-2 now in the 3rd with 13 minutes left. Hopefully a 3 point game here.

Calagry up 2-1 in the 3rd with 10 minutes left. They really played themselves out of a top 3 pick.

If we don't win the lottery, I hope Calgary does. Years of resisting the rebuild, playing hard down the stretch in an awful season, they deserve it.

If I were a Flames fan and the Oilers win the lottery again, I think I might be driven from hockey all together.

Well it's 3-1 now with 3 minutes left. Those fans have the worst luck. Having a top pick this year would have given them a little breathing room so Feaster's couldn't have F'd it up too much. They really do deserve better ownership and management.

Anaheim's been struggling as of late so hopefully Edmonton can win tonight.

Honestly at this point I rather the Av's stay in the 1-3 range. They need some D-men but if they are there they'll have to go with Mac or Drouin. If they draft Mac they'll probably end up trading Paul Stastny for some help on the backend. They could use help on the wings too so Drouin would be a fit also.

They'll have Duchene and Landeskog as a 1-2, and if they really want to, Duchene-O'Reilly-Landeskog. I think they'd go Jones, unfortunately. Erik Johnson just isn't becoming that consistent #1 they need, much like what we have with Coburn. He may play great for a couple weeks, and then go into a tailspin for the next month or so.
