I don't have a problem with him explaining the screwed up high stick.

I have a problem with him whining about Penner getting called for interference by highlighting only four seconds of a shift where Penner was doing a lot more in front of the net than that one small clip he showed.

I also have a problem with him whining about Fiddler punching Richards off the draw while he doesn't even mention that Richards slashed/speared Fiddler off the draw. Both guys deserved their penalties, yet all we hear is about what "Feedler" did.

Etc.

Backes tends to lose his cool after the Blues are losing.. you think he would take that anger and put it in the game.

I wouldn't be one to talk after the performance the Blues just displayed.

Hawks would wipe the floor with the Blues if they met in round 1.

I'd love to play the Blackhawks, problem is they have to make it to 2nd round. They couldn't get by lowly Phoenix last year.

McGinn.

There was just no real reason for the hit. I guess Backes decided that trying to get back in the game and clinch a playoff berth was worth less than a bush league cheap shot.

I think if you are going to make assertions, you need to try being right. Richards clearly got his stick stuck in Fiddler's legs, there was no slashing motion\

And etc. is a great way of masking the fact that you have nothing else to add. Fox is almost annoyingly unbiased.

It's pathetic that four officials cannot see a blatant high stick on the puck right in the slot. I mean, Garbutt was jumping in the air for ****'s sake when he knocked that out of the air over his shoulder. The fact that it has a really solid chance of affecting multiple teams in or trying to make the playoffs just speaks to the unbelievably low level of officiating quality in this league.

They won as many games in the 2nd round as the Blues did last year. I'd rather see them make a hard fought first round exit than make it to the 2nd round and get embarrassed like that.

On the other hand, fellow Kings fans complaining about the call is unbearable. Anyone want to talk about the game winning goal against St Louis where Carter moves the net? The pendulum swings

Wait, so the goal was OK because they didn't make the original high stick call? Lol, sucks for Quick for being in a position to stop an illegal tip.

So you'd rather see a 1st round exit than a 1st round stomping?

Who cares? This is a different game, so everything else is irrelevant.

Penner was battling in front of the net. Happens all the time. He was pointing out the fact that Dillon crosschecked Penner and Lehtonen was already falling backwards before Penner even made contact with him. It was a bad call.

As far as the Richards Fiddler incident your right. He didnt point out Richards getting his stick in Fiddlers crotch.
