Hey I'm a Kings fan. But it's exceedingly short-sighted to complain about calls as bitterly as this one.

You can do better than that. Bring up Clockgate!

You mean 2nd round stomping? Yes. I think anybody would. They don't give you the Cup for winning a playoff round so I'd rather keep some semblance of pride at least.

Carter did not do anything illegal that was grounds for disallowing a goal. The Stars did. There is no comparison there whatsoever.

"Lowly Phoenix" won more games against the Kings last year than the Blues did. They also won 5 more playoff games than St.Louis last year.

If by moved you mean stayed in place and didn't "move" anywhere? O wait the top slightly tilted....makeing the net in theory smaller....

are the star trying to make the playoff even after they traded away some of their players away? Don't Dallas star fan want a top 10 draft pick more?

So you'd rather not win any playoff rounds than advance to the 2nd round. Got it.

Okay good for you. This is a hockey forum so everybody isn't going to share that same opinion. If it was a missed powerplay.. then yeah, that would get annoying, IMO. But, it's a goal.. and the fact that the ref was standing right there when it happened makes it more upsetting. If you didn't bring it up, you might not have to be reading about it right now.

Looking at the Backes hit again, he didn't crank him, it was a late bump for sure. No more dirty then the late hit on Sobotka after the whistle earlier in the game. Where was the outrage on that hit? Sobotka missed a few shifts on that one.

Backes late hit.

Um....

Yes, the Dallas Stars are trying to make the playoffs.

They've done better than expected after shipping off some top forwards around the deadline. Something like 6-3 since the deadline.

The Stars weren't going to end up in the bottom five, so a tank would prove fruitless, IMO. I'm pulling for a playoff appearance, obviously.

Seriously though, Sobotka was hit late and I'm pretty sure it was McGinn who did it, so it was payback.

Really? They why does everyone write them off? I don't but "lowly" is what most of the league thinks of that team and wants them to move. I say stay and grow.

Hasenfratz completely blows a call that would give the Kings the lead. Unbelievable.

Refs giving Dallas the game! Although it doesnt really matter. That team, if it makes the post season, will get crushed rather easily
