Winnipeg will beat Buffalo with ease tomorrow night. I still can't believe Miller went from being an elite, consistent goaltender to one of the most ridiculed and inconsistent. He has way too much talent to be wasting away there. It was always a close tie between Miller and Ward for me when I debated which one was better, I'm still sticking with Miller, even though Ward has a cup.

But that's my question. If I pay for the subscription in July, I'm paying for 13-14 correct?

Not sure about the ease part.
After their showing against the Rangers, the Sabres *should* be motivated to play spoiler.

Would be really nice to clinch a spot by Tuesday, just so we could give Lundqvist a night off and Biron some playing time before the playoffs.

I hope for our sake as fans that someone else other than Sather get's a "kick at the tires" pretty soon because you never know what Hank will do when his contract is up because he wants to win so badly!
Henrik wants to be a career Ranger, I have no doubt about that. If he gets a fair offer from the NYR, then he's a Ranger for life. He loves the city and I think the legacy he'll leave behind is very important to him. Hopefully, they get this done this summer.

6-3 in April and couple big wins too (Bruins and Pens, both on the road). Sabres can help us a lot down the stretch by beating Jets and Isles. No reason to think they cant get the job done.

For personal reasons only, I feel dirty rooting for the Sabres. Gotta put that **** aside tonight though. They can do the Rangers a SERIOUS favor and knock that magic number down to TWO with a regulation win tonight.

Have one of your games Vanek.

And **** you Chris Drury and Max Afinogenov.

I'm gonna have to agree with you. The ridicule and outrage from the fans, media, etc if he walked away from the Rangers would be outrageous.

If I'm him, before I come to any agreement here, I read the riot act to our beloved, incompetent GM (who will soon complete his 13th year here as the "GM for life" thanks to the buffoon who owns the team) for failing to put a winning team in front of Hank all these years!

Go Hank; take no prisoners and ream Mr. Owner and Mr. GM a "new ***hole before signing on the dotted line!!

Hey! I cheer for the Sabres as a second team too. Can't be too many of us NYR-BUF fans.

There is no longer a big-league baseball team in Montreal, but the closest junior hockey team apparently has a new designated quitter.
New Jersey Devils first-round pick Stefan Matteau's turbulent season, which has included being suspended by the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada for rough play, missing out on Team USA's world junior championship triumph and making his NHL debut at age 18, has taken a rather volatile twist. Details are slowly being filled in, but Stéphane Leroux (@StephRDSJunior) of Réseau des sports (RDS) is reporting that Matteau has quit the Armada, who are down 2-0 in to Baie-Comeau in a QMJHL semifinal series. It's understandable that a 19-year-old could have trouble working through frustration, but he has created a spectacle.
