Send a message. Hit Cooke whenever you can (without going out of the way), nail their Stars, hurt them. Show some meanness, show some borderline criminal behaviour. It will hurt them, the elite team expected to contend, and help us in the playoffs if we advance.

We aren't expected to go deep so who cares? Pluck the Penguins.
Speak for yourself.

As for the Bell incident, I do remember our guys going after him but I think he was wearing a cage.

You know what they say about opinions, right?

MacIntyre is probably an upstanding person, but he's a terrible hockey player. I'd much rather have him out on the ice where we can abuse him with speed, than have him take any of our skaters to the penalty box.
Matt Kassian is not greatest hockey player as well.

Here's what I would like to see tonight.

Remember that time a few years ago where Darcy Tucker refused to fight any of our fighters, and then went after Patrick Eaves of all people? The next game, he got rocked half a dozen times with bone crushing legal hits. Volchenkov and Phillips in particular just hammered him. He ended up with a broken nose and didn't finish the game.

That's what I want to see tonight. None of this ******** "my tough guy fights your tough guy" that solves nothing. What does that prove? That we both employ face punchers? That Kassian can take on an AHL call-up? Big whoop.

Hes a lot better at playing hockey then most 'goons'. He can play 8-10 mins a night with solid defensive ability.

Bring Donovan BAAAACK!

I say we give Sean Donovan a 1 game try-out, putting hm on the ice whenever Cooke dares set foot on frozen water...

Precisely. What's your point, exactly?

Should Craig Adams be expected to fight Kassian? Of course not. Why is Neil expected to fight MacIntyre?

I'd probably want to give Cooke a good crank or five myself but not at the expense of losing the game or getting suspended.

Typical hockey stuff doesn't necessarily mean we have to go all Cobra Kai on the Pens here.

edit: KoT said it nicely.^

Just a warning to any Pens fans who may be coming to post on our boards:

If you want to post here, today, for this game, knowing full well about the recent history between these two teams (first "Post-Achilles" game between Sens & Pens), understand that you are on thin ice. Sens fans are pretty emotionally invested in tonight's game: Coming to this board to dictate to us who will or won't do something tonight, will be considered trolling and will be penalized as such.

That is what the main boards are for.

Kassian's out, Kassian's in. Kassian's out, Kassian's in...for now. Gee fellas, this is tough, why don't you check back closer to game time.

Ken Warren ‏@Citizenkwarren 1m
@6thSens mind games going on here...MacLean trying to keep Penguins guessing. Kassian stayed on ice late, Latendresse says he's playing

Pens fan here. Good luck tonight. The Pens will be without Crosby-Malkin-Neal-Martin-Letang and MAF. its almost going to be an ahl team here tonight... and its possible that you may see a fresh out of the NCAAs goalie before the night is done. Shouldnt exactly be a tough game for yinze...

...and yet the Pens are still winning games, aren't they?

Don't sell your team short, they are still an excellent team with other guys stepping up.

Hardly an AHL team

If you want an AHL team, see our team from a month or so ago.

We could goon it up and lose, or we could just play well and win.

I pick win. I don't care about gooning it up as it NEVER works well for us. So lets just play our game and ****ing win!
