There's just something surreal and awesome about Jarome Iginla getting the Big McLargehuge GDT treatment.

Kassian is out for the Sens, Alfie said they need to ignore Cooke, Seems like Sens are only worried about winning the game

Ottawa GDT is funny, they are hoping for gooning it up. I hope they remember this after they eat a Big Mac tonight

So Mac, Engo, Glass, Bort, Morrow, Iggy is a pretty beefy lineup, fight-wise, no?

Anyhow, I sort of wish Vokoun were starting tonight. Neil just flat out bulldozed Reimer the other night: didn't try to slow down or move or anything. I'm sure he'll attempt to take some liberties with Flower, as well.

Great GDT Big. I love Murray as a Big Daddy.

Also Iggy Pop is cut pretty well for an old dude. I guess drugs keep the paunch off.

Just dropped by to wish you guys luck, and to say that this is complete BS.

There's like 1 post suggesting that. Most want 2 points, and if something bad should happen to Cooke, we wouldn't be upset.

Good luck, as much as Cooke has done bad things in the past I still think that was a total accident with Karlsson. Hope for a clean game

Watch. Chris Neil will get in Matt Cooke's face.

Come on, guys. We have our fans that give us a bad name, too. It is part of every fan base. Relax. I know some of their good fans and they are good hockey minds. Let it go.

Some thoughts:

1) The Senators (and most of their fans) surely prefer to lock up a playoff spot more than beat up Matt Cooke.

2) There would be nothing wrong with Neil or one of those guys challening Cooke to a fight. It should be expected; it's part of the game when stuff like this happens. Let's get it over with.

3) There is going to be zero tolerance for "you said / we said" crap with Senators fans. Don't do it.

No need to call anyone else up - Eric Hartzell's contract actually counts this year so he's officially on the roster.

I'm not expecting this game to be too ridiculous - it means absolutely nothing for the Penguins and absolutely everything for the Senators - if they focus on revenge then they could potentially cost themselves a playoff spot that they currently hold. They'll finish their checks on Cooke a bit harder and more often, but they're not going to try to break anyone's ankle. Fan (and in this case, owner) anger rarely translates to on-ice aggression.

Should be cool to see him in a Penguins jersey for the first time, then.

Josh Yohe ‏@JoshYohe_Trib 3m

Fleury's wife about to have baby. Letang has food poisoning. Bennett day to say with upper body injury. All out tonight.

https://twitter.com/JoshYohe_Trib/st...69508308680704

Damn it, now we lose Bennett too...

That pretty much guarantees Steve MacIntyre is in the game (who is Officer Big Mac, not Mayor McCheese...some people ). I assume Jeffrey will slot in for Bennett. With just an optional morning skate it's hard to project lines right now.

Bennett has been really fun to watch lately. I hope this is nothing serious and that he'll be 100% in the playoffs. So that he's healthy in the pressbox.

I just want to make the playoffs.

I couldn't care less about Cooke at this point.
