Anyhow, I sort of wish Vokoun were starting tonight. Neil just flat out bulldozed Reimer the other night: didn't try to slow down or move or anything. I'm sure he'll attempt to take some liberties with Flower, as well.
No need to call anyone else up - Eric Hartzell's contract actually counts this year so he's officially on the roster.
I'm not expecting this game to be too ridiculous - it means absolutely nothing for the Penguins and absolutely everything for the Senators - if they focus on revenge then they could potentially cost themselves a playoff spot that they currently hold. They'll finish their checks on Cooke a bit harder and more often, but they're not going to try to break anyone's ankle. Fan (and in this case, owner) anger rarely translates to on-ice aggression.
“The most terrifying fact about the universe is not that it is hostile, but that it is indifferent. If we can come to terms with this indifference and accept the challenges of life within the boundaries of death, our existence as a species can have genuine meaning and fulfillment. However vast the darkness, we must supply our own light.” - Stanley Kubrick
That pretty much guarantees Steve MacIntyre is in the game (who is Officer Big Mac, not Mayor McCheese...some people ). I assume Jeffrey will slot in for Bennett. With just an optional morning skate it's hard to project lines right now.
