or how about:

vs.

and as much as it pains me to say it, that second hot dog, from the legendary hot doug's, is a legit #1 seed, president's trophy-winning hot dog. japadog is nice, a clear division champ, but come on.

Foie Gras and Sauternes Duck Sausage with Truffle Aioli, Foie Gras Mousse and Fleur de Sel
$10.00

you can't beat that value. their duck fat fries suck though, kind of like chicago's goaltending.

I'll stick with beef/pork byproducts topped with mustard tyvm.

The key to the game is not to take a 5 minute major. Quenneville is convinced his team can score 4 or 5 goals on that.

If Schroeder's shoulder is healthy, I think he would be playing against Edmonton on Saturday.

So uh, if I've never had a Japadog before but I've eaten at Giordano's does that mean I have to cheer for the Hawks tonight?

*hangs head in shame*

This will be a fantastic game. Hopefully they'll play with a bit more swagger now that they're locked in to the playoffs.

Who was asking about celebrity Canuck fans recently?

According to #Canucks game notes Sophie Tweed-Simmons is singing tonight's national anthems. Jannik Hansen will be very excited

Would be funny to hear Nick (her brother) do some color commentary. In the few times I watched Gene Simmons' Family Jewels, I always found him hilarious.

I just want two things confirmed then my case of "the mondays" will be healed.
1. Confirmation Corrado will play
2. COnfirmation Higgins is back

Please Canucks, heal my case of the mondays.

Agreed - these two things would make me a very happy camper.

I don't have many expectations for Corrado, I should add; I just would love to see Barker out of the lineup. Alberts has settled in after a horrendous start, IMO.

I'm hoping Corrado performs the way Tanev did in his first game, though that may be a bit much to expect. At the very least he can't be worse than Barker.

We could see Corrado AND Joslin if Ballard's back is still bugging him. Or else Barker stays in, which will make me vomit just a little bit.

I have one expectation. That he won't let on rushing forwards skate right past him without so much as breathing on them (like Barker has done every single game he's played for us this year).

Corrado is such a good skater, he'll be able to cope with these rushes, and Chicago isn't overly physical, so I think this would be the best case team to play him against.

I want to see how he looks against a skill/speed team in Chicago, if he can handle it, we'll let him go against Anaheim who are a bit bigger, and then let him romp all over the Coil on saturday.

I don't see any harm in letting him play these 3 games (unless of course he looks clearly overwhelmed tonight).

I'm hoping Corrado plays how Corrado plays usually. Smart and efficient, that's all we need.

Heady company...MT @steveewen: Hearing that Frank Corrado will wear 26 for the Canucks. Follows the likes of Trent Klatt and Steve McCarthy.

Probably the most excited I've been to see a prospect play in a while. Really looking forward to seeing what Corrado can do. He has looked so poised every time I've seen him play.

Hot Doug's is a Chicago institution? I could have done Japadog versus Hot Doug's!
