Ummm, it had nothing to do with you.
Just inserting Spals into the Top 6 if Fisher's going to be out.

Poile mentioned something about that in the not too distant past that made me laugh, nothing more.

Over/Under on Glasstad lasting 5 games?

Hopefully Hannan is healthy to trade in a few days.

Isn't this part of the knee? I thought they had him listed with an upper body injury.

Meniscus is the cartilage that pads the femur and the lower leg bone. This isn't a ligament. I had a big chunk of mine removed a couple of years ago and recovery was 6 weeks for a 50 year old fat guy like me.

I didn't recover as fast as you but mine wasn't bad enough for surgery just pt and a couple of steriod shots. Still it took 6 mos for me.

That can't be right, those players are only not playing because we're tanking.

Personally, my knee gets classified as upper body when I stick my foot in my mouth

Does this ease anyone's tension or frustration? These guys are all hurt. Nothing anyone can do about it. Makes sense for our lackluster season. Next year could be really fun though with Bourque, Wilson, Beck, Forsberg (?) all healthy.

One thing that bugs me about it is why wait a month before deciding that Wilson is going to have surgury? If the injury truly was that bad, I don't see why they didn't go ahead and have it earlier so he would have more time to recover.

Maybe a resident doctor can answer for sure but I've had a few injuries they wanted to try pt before they cut me, maybe that was the same for him. Also I think they have to get the swelling down completely too.

It does for me- I am just ready for this awful season to be over so we can put it out of our memory and move on.

And I was thinking about this today- THANK THE LORD this is happening in a strike shortened season. What if we were having the exact season, with the same injuries (and Erat gone), and had still had 41 games left???

Talk about torture- 41 meaningless games vs 7.

Just thinking about that goes a long way towards getting me through this miserable year. I cannot wait until opening night next season, when we get a fresh start..........

well, if there were 41 games left, we wouldnt have traded Erat yet and we'd be talking about how to turn things around and still make the playoffs

but I get your point I have always kinda felt sorry for fans whose teams are clearly out of the race by february and have two more months to suffer through...

The feeling I get is MDs would rather exhaust all options before surgery.

But then again I get all of my medical training from Scrubs.

True enough, but with the people we have out we would have had ZERO chance of making the playoffs with that many games left.......

This is just ridiculous now. If there were hockey gods, they're definitely not on our side this year.
