Help Kane!

I think the Hawks should help Patrick Kane get the Art Ross trophy by moving him up on the 1st line and send down Saad or Hossa to replace him on the 2nd line. None of the players in the top 5 in points is playing on the 2nd line!

He leads the West in scoring... thats good and fine. Whats more impressiv is that the #2 guy in the west is on the same team but doesn't play with the #1

With teams as stacked in the top6 as the Hawks 1st/2nd line is really semantics. Ovechkin played the first half of the season away from Backstrom. Pittsburghs most stacked line is Neal-Malkin-Iginla not the one Crosby plays on (and makes players others did not even want into top10 scorers on).

With Crosby out for a 3rd of the season, it was always St. Louis with the best chances. Not because of his line or Stamkos, but simply by virtue of being a ridiculous playmaker who picks up secondary assists like nobody's business. The ****** team he is on pretty much makes up for it probably being the first line on it.

I would agree that Kane won't win. What I love to laugh at is the praise for Ovechkin. He brought them back from dead. Isn't a reason why they were dead because he was absolutely atrocious for a good portion of this season?

I think his point is that a goalie can't win the Art Ross as it's awarded to the player with the most points.

It would be interesting to one day see a goalie so good at playing the puck that the entire forecheck and roster was designed around that skill. Even so, max possible points would probably be 30-40.

awards are meaningless. unless they incur obscure bonus cap space penalties, and force you to trade andrew ladd.

Tell Dave Bolland to pull his head out of his arse and show up for a game.

A goalie never has won the Art Ross trophy and you will have a hard time finding a D that has won it other than Bobby Orr

Coach Q should use Saad/Toews/Kane on the top line for the final 4 games.

I hate to burst your bubble but there is zero chance of Kane winning the Hart. I don't think I need to explain why. He'll get lots of honourable mentions as will other one-dimensional players, but right now I see it as a 3 way battle with Crosby as favourite, Ovy and Toews trailing. One of those 3 will win. Bet your bottom dollar on it.

And besides Hawks have bigger things to be concerned about as the PO's approach. To name a few:
- Sharp's health and readiness for the PO's
- Rozy's health
- Q must relax the ice time of players that have played so much hockey this season (and there are plenty of them) or risk burn out.
-goaltending
- PP
- Grit and defensive coverage in our end of the ice.

crosby winning would be a joke. miss 25% of season, team barely misses a beat without you, but you're most valuable? lol funny joke.

I don't think you read the thread. Nobody is even talking about the Hart.

fine, but they were at the bottom of the NHL with OV playing. If he would have showed up they would be in the POs already. He doesn't deserve it this year
