I don't like individual threads.

Quote:
MONTREAL – The Montreal Canadiens announced Monday that goaltenders Robert Mayer and Dustin Tokarski, defensemen Nathan Beaulieu, Greg Pateryn and Jarred Tinordi, as well as forwards Michaël Bournival, Louis Leblanc and Petteri Nokelainen have been recalled from the AHL Hamilton Bulldogs.

All eight players will practice this week in Hamilton under the guidance of the Bulldogs’ coaching staff. They will arrive in Montreal on Sunday, April 28, 2013.

I love how some people on facebook don't understand why we're doing this and think we're changing the whole team right before the playoffs

As I said in the Bulldogs thread, Kristo hasn't adjusted to the AHL yet, let alone NHL, and Holland is injured, so as far as on contract players go, their omission makes sense.

The biggest absences are Ellis and St. Denis. I'd imagine the latter's time with the organization is about to be over.

Perfectly normal. Roster sizes expand for the playoffs, AHL season is over.

Most of these callups are just a reward to either promising players or vets (such as the case of Nokelainen and Mayer), and extra depth.

bulldog season is over and we're allowed unlimited amount of players for the playoffs as long as we're under the cap limit

They won't follow the club for the rest of season, staying in Hamilton to practice until the playoffs.

I'm surprised no one on here has yet to suggest that they recalled two goaltenders so they must think Price can't handle the load and will sit him until they can trade him or bury him in the minors. Budaj confirmed #1 starter.....

No that is not my opinion. Just clumping together random thoughts that I'm sure exist somewhere on HF.

Wonder if any of them will play before the season's out? ** Nevermind got my answer **

That's not what is generally referred to as "cash bonus"
