Schneider. Too bad...it would have been great to have one final time to face Luongo in a canuck uniform.

Vancouver's defense is bad. You know you suck when having Kevin Bieksa out is a big deal. Have 2 AHL'ers on the blueline tonight.

You're being far too kind to Barker.... I doubt he belongs there either.

You're probably right. I can't believe he was drafted 3rd overall

Yep. much more important that anything else. Same for all the rest of the regular season.

Q needs to take advantage of our position; let the other teams fight for a playoff berth, like we had to do the past 2 seasons. I'd be perfectly content if he sits some core players this week.

Van absolutely decimated with injuries on the back end. 3/6 are out.
Replacements include Cam Barker, who sucks and a prospect playing his first NHL game.

Should be a blowout for Chicago.

Not if we out Cory you.

Besides, our bad ass Barker avatars just arrived; not even Bernie Nichols can save you now.

Chicago finished comfortably in the playoffs last year.

I'm so upset Lu won't be starting...it's the last meeting of the year and everything...Canucks' games lack a certain je ne sais quoi when Luongo isn't in net. This might have been our last chance to see him as a Canuck...esp. since this year's Canuck team looks to be of the "one and done" playoff variety...no promise of a late round match up b/w the two teams.

Je ne sais quoi? Everyone knows what the games lack when Luongo's not in net. Goals. They lack goals. Specifically - goals scored by the Chicago Blachhawks.

This should be a pretty exciting game. With the addition of Roy and having Kesler back I'm guessing the Nucks will be quite a bit more aggressive offensively than they were the last couple times we met up. Time to renew the excitement before the playoffs hit.

Too bad there's no chance our teams will meet before the Conference Finals.

Actually, wouldn't it be great if our teams met in the Conference Finals?

No, no. The next GDT I make will be amazing and 100% randomly timed. We don't want a repeat of my last GDT..

Canucks fan here. Have a whole lot of respect for the Blackhawks' top notch players and organization.

I would just like to say that the diving reputation isn't entirely deserved. We do it just as much as any other team, we are just AWFUL at making it look believable so there are lots of funny gifs floating around.. Please consider saving gifs of other teams diving a little more often instead of recycling old Canucks ones, the team (except for Kesler) seems to have gotten the message and toned it down.

I'm not getting bent out of shape over a little chirping that's all in good fun but now almost every time a Canucks player falls down they are called divers and I need to relieve some internal skull pressure I think it's bad to only point at one team when it's a league wide problem that needs to be fixed.

It won't be on NHLN locally.
