Pens even without their top 6 could match any team in the East

Just bitter being in a playoff spot all year. If we lose out at the very end regardless of the future outlook it will suck knowing we could be contenders if we were healthy.

If you missed the game you can re-watch the Leafs game, or really any game this franchise has ever played where anything important was on the line.

This is bad team. Half of this team players i dont want see next year. Our PP coach is 2 month late to be fired. MacLean not as good as we thought. Skill level is almost 0. Only thing to look forward is kids line.

Just like when Heatley came back.

You really can predict this team fairly easily. **** the bed for the big game. Pretty much every big game.

You know, in 24 hours we could be in 9th...

and you just KNOW the Washington Winnipeg game is going to OT.

Fun times!

There are panic posts, and then there are idiotic posts. Yours was both, but mostly the latter. Get a grip.

Charging on Neil and holding on Phillips were utter bs phantom calls. Hooking on Turris was ticky-tacky but it was Turris, and I guarantee you refs don't like his whining. Michalek's were lazy and stupid.

Cooke is a gutless, spot-picking cheapshot artist coward, obviously he wasn't going to oblige anyone.

Pens were content to give us the perimeter, and we were content to drift back-footed floaters.

****.

Either we fans have a complex because of whats happened in the past, or there is really something about the team that is unable to handle the big game. Im really not sure which one it is anymore. All i know is, i miss the pesky team we had to start the year and all of last year. Where did they go?

That's the thing. I mean it's fine that they exceeded expectations and gave us lots of good hockey to watch, but if they lose their 5hit as soon as it matters, what's the point? I really hope they snap out of it and manage to win at least a few more games and sneak into the playoffs.

-Conacher: don't think I've ever seen a game where a top 6 player was more invisible.

-Turris: I know they mentioned that he spent the whole summer last year training on his strength but I'm sure at this point that he only trained upper body and missed "leg day". He simply cannot stay on his feet. It can't be done. Up till now its felt sorry for him and buying the excuse that "he's getting so many chances but just can't finish." Well the reason he just can't finish is cause he gets out muscled every time.

-Smith: had a really strong game, was all over the ice.

-Michalek: See Smith. Was all over the ice.

Not sure if its nerves or lack of preparation but we don't come out for big games. Really disappointing.

We were "ok" most of the night(3rd period was our best) but not nearly enough effort to win against the Pens. Andy should have stopped 2 of those 3 goals though.

This is such a bad post.

Weir is 2nd in rookie defence scoring (37 point pace). There's like 10 other things worth mentioning here to look forward to. Sens fans have more to look forward to than about 95% of the league.
