Both of these guys came out of college and didn't "burn out" with a pro schedule.

Both of these players were weaker than Schultz offensively coming out of college, and continue to be so today. But both were also miles ahead in their own zone.

Why is offense the only thing you people look at in defensemen? There's a reason they're called "defense"men
Petry does nothing right.

You're obviously right about defense being more important for um, defensemen.

Neither guy played the amount of games Schultz has played this season in their rookie years.

Seriously, has this team seen a guy "go through the motions" this much since POS?

He might get a rookie camp invite?

What's the story... has Belanger actually been injured or is it just that he's on his way out and it's been more of a pressbox situation?

Barkov or Monahan would be huge for the team. We really need one of them or any other big center if we are going to be competing with the likes of L.A and Anaheim for the foreseeable future.

I'm getting tired of our defenceman having full control of the puck behind their own net only to blindly throw it around the wall when no one is there but an opposing defenceman. Is this Ralph Kruegers vaunted breakout?

I doubt Gilbert was playing the number of minutes Schultz has played this year either.

Is Gagner coming from a shorter college schedule to the AHL/NHL?

Didn't think so.

Craig Button is claiming that Barkov can play in the NHL next year... but then again... this is Craig Button we're talking about.

Meaningless game, yet Hall and Yakupov are still giving 100 percent effort

I'm a bit surprised you don't have a scouting report on him, does anyone know what they kid has going on?

On a night like this where the refs are snubbing you and the other team is running around, especially with the season in the tubes, it's time for someone to take 5 games for the team.
