I think you're thinking too much about "what have you done for me lately". Don't forget Perry's only 27, and is capable of scoring 50. Perry > Hall. If we're talking loooong term though, then it's almost a toss-up.

Much better team effort tonight and last night. Hopefully this carries into the playoffs. Viktor looking quite good tonight. The boner once again rising to the occasion.

I love games like this. Real fun to watch. Glad they seem to be getting their mojo back.

Hall has been better this year and doesn't play with Getzlaf.

This. The whole team shows up again, the last ever Pacific Division belongs to Anaheim, the Ducks clinch the #2 seed in the West, and THIS is the discussion?

Anyone else feel like Vatanen is giving himself an opportunity to be considered a Calder favorite next year if he can stick? (Which he looks to be as an excellent complement to Allen, although I'm withholding full judgement until after I see him against Vancouver and a big team like the Kings/Blues)

He'll be eligible next year? What are the requirements?

EDIT: As in, isn't this his rookie season?

Can't be older than 26, can't have played more than 25 games in a season, or played more than 6 games over multiple seasons. He should still be eligible.

Maybe not a favourite but he could be right in the frame if he continues his development.

Still some things he needs to improve, but he's come a long way this season, it seems like he is playing with more freedom in the 2nd recall

Although they play a different game, he is providing the offensive spark I've been expecting out of Fowler, especially on the PP. It's nice to see, but the proof of his ability to stick is how well he is able to play D.

I have no complaints on his performance so far, since his recall, but I wouldn't be starting a "should the Ducks retire Sami's number" thread just yet.
