Clearly, this team will never go anywhere with their tendency to lose in regulation every dozen games or so.

Vancouver is a rock solid team when rolling, two president trophies, two art Ross trophies, several MVP awards, and a game 7 cup final appearance aren't achieved by fluke.

You know what's even better? Actually winning the Cup.

Columbus would have won the Prez Trophy in that division!

You can make so many excuses about Hawks not playing for anything but this is their 3rd game in 4 nights coming off a 6+ hour flight. At least I'm hoping that was the issue.

This could be a good wakeup for the Hawks. THe object is to play their best games starting next week, not now.

I wanted to see some Pirri, Morin, Smith and Hayes. They would have added some grit.

That is what I was thinking. Just tired and ready for the playoffs.

Not much grit with Hayes. But would be nice to see some rest for the St. Louis game for the core. Go total clown car and even bring up Beach.

Beach must be a total mess not to have seen more time at this point in his career.

Btw why does Hammer get penalized on the Hansen breakaway and Saad didn't get the call on his?

Kassian on NHL network looks like a cross between a cartoon character and a couch potato.

It wasn't. We were playing horribly, and they were making excuses that they would flip the switch in the playoffs.

Sloppy, sloppy game from the hawks. Can't be fumbling/missing passes when a team is coming at you as hard as the nucks were tonight.

On the brightside Crawford looked strong tonight.

Canucks fan here in peace. Man, did Crawford ever look good!!! And Brandon Saad was an absolute steal in the draft.
Good luck the rest of the way.

Good game hawks. Crawford kept it close.

BTW if you get a chance, find the comments keith made after the game to a female reporter. Pretty weak sauce.
