Is anyone watching the US game? Was wondering if I can ask for reports for Thompson and Vannelli on D in particular. What role they are playing/any flashes good or bad that you notice or an assessment of their game/tools as a whole. Thanks in advance! Really curious about these 2 haven't been able to see them play.

not many people on the arena in finland-usa game, you can hear what coaches say in the bench because it's so quiet

Rus - Sui (Ger)
USA - Ger (Sui)
Swe - Fin

Why in the world did Andersson not shoot there? And yeah, Button has been pretty annoying this game. Canada has been better, but not 8 goals better. Biggest difference is goaltending so far.

That would be assuming that Germany is going to beat Switzerland?
I'd say that is very even matchup and could go either way. I actually think the Swiss are gonna win this because they have more depth.

Three goal lead is pretty justified indeed, not more. Could've been 5-2, could've been 4-1, but 3-0 reflects the game too.

Sweden's definitely struggling with the pace.

A loss against Canada will probably result in a quarter-final against the Finns, and a semi against the Russians. A win would give us the Czechs in the quarter and the US in the semis, that would probably be a tougher route anyway.
