Kreider isn't gonna crack top 3 line minutes (or get powerplay time) so it's probably best he be sent down.
Kreider would sit for Dorsett for sure. Also Dorsett is going to start 4th line especially coming back from an injury. With Boyle out they need Powe as 4th line C and Pker

Reaaaaaaaaaaaaly hoping both Staal and Dorsett play Saturday

I imagine Eminger sits and DZ moves to RD?

McDonaugh, Girardi
Staal, Del Zotto
Moore, Stralman ?
Eminger spare
Gilroy and Hamrlik hopefully dont have to play

Eminger was awful against the Devils, I counted 3 giveaways on 1 shift during 2nd period

Kreider should be in Pyatt's spot with Pyatt sitting for Dorsett.

Jared Staal was called up by Carolina. If Marc plays on Thursday, all four brothers could be on the ice together.

next yr they should deal Pyatt and his contract and Kreider should be in that spot but we have to give credit to Torts for once as Pyatt is doing well lately with BRich and Zuc

Dorsett is in for Kreider if he's healthy for the playoffs. I doubt they trust Dorsett with too much more since he's just coming back.

I'm excited about the possibility. What are the chances Marc will play? I have tickets for the game. Reports here in Raleigh say he may be ready. A local article says the Staal parents are in town for a family reunion. Maybe he could play for at least a shift or two so we could see all four at one time. Maybe a gentleman's agreement about contact? I'm taking my camera. Come on, Torts, a little PR never hurts.

Yeah, let's rush back our #1 defense man from a serious injury while we are in a race to make the playoffs just for some PR.

If he's ready he'll play, if he's not he won't.

I'm more excited about the possibility that the Staal brothers feel bad about Marc and convince the rest of the team to tank on Thursday so that Marc can play in the playoffs this year.

Jim Cerny building everyone's hopes and dreams up, likely only to shoot them down

Quote:
@JimCerny: that would be 3 Staal brothers playing for the Canes tomorrow, & would be most cool if 4th brother & #NYR Marc could return from eye injury

I doubt it. Eric will probably rip his helmet off and poke him in the eye.

This is a terrible idea. We're in a playoff race and you care about PR???!

And then while he's blinded by that Dion Phaneuf will sneak onto the ice and nail him.

Seriously though, I really, REALLY hope Marc is back for the playoffs. Dorsett, too, on that note. It's disconcerting that we really know nothing about either of them.

In the good eye, making him legally blind. Than this poor kid will need a dog to skate with him next time he laces them up. At least he won't need the walking stick, his hockey stick should surfice. Does anyone know how long it would take to teach a lab how to skate?

I'm more concerned about the too many men on the ice implications. I'm going to email Kerry Fraser asking for an interpretation.

ryan clowe is going to be a huge loss for us .

He steps up in the playoffs.

And provides a spark here and there which the rangers have no one else capable of minus this other injured kid from columbus

Hope its not long term, if is what a waste of assets

With this injury, we'll hope Dorsett will be back, but more than anything Kreider will need to step into the top 9 and have another fine playoffs.

Anyone ask Eric about Clowe's condition? This team will give us nothing. Clowe will be "banged up."

Clowe is gonna be a bigger loss than many think.

Not an "irreplaceable" player but really hurts the team's depth.

Yeah. People seem fond of bashing him, but he's been a very solid addition and adds toughness/passing skill to the team. Losing him SUCKS, especially with Boyle and Dorsett already out. Hopefully it's not serious.

He has always played tremendous in the playoffs and his whole style of play is made for the playoffs ..... I disagree with that statement considering he was playing 1st line minutes as well
