I saw. Still don't really want to spend like 270 including tax though. Maybe just best if I buy the jersey separate and have the numbers/name sewn on separately.

I'd be ok with the $180 premier version but it looks like in the nhl.com store the letters/name are screen printed on instead of sewn? I don't want that. Any suggestions where I should go to buy one?
Buy a blank premier at the NHL store and have them do the stitching. They send it out to a place called Arena Wear in Harrison,NY...the same guys who do all of the Rangers jerseys. They will stitch the jersey exactly like the game worn ones. $70 bucks for the customization.

Also, anyone know if the team swedens on eBay are fakes? I don't care if its a replica or authentic. But I wanna know if they're fake like ripoffs. I can't tell with the international jerseys.

Bought a Lundqvist away from Cosby's yesterday. Very nice jersey, there's something about no nameplate that I like.

Only thing that kinda sucks is the lettering on the front isn't stitched but w/e

Only the authentic jerseys are stitched, the premier's aren't.

I figured. I may get the letters at least sewed down to reinforce them

Question here....

I have a Dubinsky home jersey with the new Reebok word mark on the back. I got it for $62 if anyone remembers that Fans Edge sale from last season on Black Friday. The thing is the jersey is the NHL.com **** where the numbers and letters aren't completely stitched on. So my question is since it's the same number and everything, where should I go, how much would it cost, and is it even worth it to have everything stripped and turn it into a Moore jersey? Or for the easier and cheaper route, is it possible to get an NHL.com like nameplate put on the back to replace the Dubinsky one? My concern is that the new nameplate looks really nice with it being completely stitched but it doesn't go with the rest of the jersey which has the NHL.com customization.

Guys, if I'm gonna get one of my lady liberties customized should I do an "A" or a "C" for Leetch?

Also, there is no "A" on it because as I said I purchased it before Richie was named A. I'm asking $70 but I'd probably take less because I realize it is an older style. Mint condition, I've only worn it to about 8-9 games I've attended in the past year.

At the risk of pissing off a seasoned contributor to the HFBoards forum - this jersey isn't even close to being genuine, let alone an "authentic".

Size 48, nhl logo covered by laces, shoulder/sleeve/side construction not correct ....

If people want to wear fakes, that's up to them, as the prices for even replicas can get out of reach for some - but I do take issue with a used fake asking such a non-trivial amount.

Looks nice man. Take that premier tag off on the bottom front and it will look even better.

I'm gonna have my aunt do that for me cuz knowing my luck with jerseys, I'll destroy it

If my McD heritage ever decides to make it back from Canada I'll do the same for it too

Just use a seam ripper from the inside of the jersey. You literally just rip each seam, and within 10 minutes the thing comes right off.

I've done it twice but from the outside of the jersey. I've read its safer to do it from the outside.

Either way works, as long as you're careful.

They will strip the old nameplate and add a new one for $35. I checked with Cosby's too. It's about $60-70 there (they charge by the letter so Moore close to the $60).
somebody in this thread months ago recommeded them for Customization. Very easy to deal with. They ask for no money until job is done either which is a nice touch.

I just turned an Avery I picked up for $30 into a Brassard. It's due at my house by Friday. I'll post pictures if you'd like

who is easy to deal with, Cosbys or exclusive pro?? I've got the Dubinsky situation as well, but it's an authentic, so I would want the nameplate and letters to look top notch. PLease post pics of your "new" Brassard if you don't mind. thanks!

Actually, the heritage premiers have the NEW YORK stitched. Can't tell you if this holds true for the older ones with the Reebok vector logo, but I have a new one with the REEBOK on the back and the letters are stitched.

So I'm still content with my home blue Girardi that I got from SportsK. I also have an old Jagr that I got from $19 after he signed in the KHL (can't pass that deal up) and a heritage Gaborik that I'll still wear on occasion. I'll be waiting for next year or the year after to get my Jesper Fast(h) jersey. Kid is my favorite prospect and has been since we drafted him.

My question is for my wife. I got her a Prucha when we started dating because he was her favorite player. She still hasn't gotten over the loss of him and now wears a blank home blue jersey. She is beginning to think that she is ready for another player but wants to pick someone that she feels will be here a while. Is McDonagh the choice? It may be weird if McD-G remain defensive partners and we're wearing the jerseys (don't want to be that couple... lol).

Others in the running would be Henrik or Staal. Any opinions?
