I don't like the make up of that team for the future. I really think they need to make a big trade sending one of RNH, Hall, or Yakupov for help in obvious areas.

Agreed, ndgt10. Unfortunately for Oiler fans, RNH is showing signs of being injury-prone. His slight build has not held up well.

i think they keep RNH (b/c they have no depth at centre) and Hall and get rid of one of Eberle or Yakupov.

They are going to have to start making productive trades...b/c the city/team is too undesirable to attract any decent free agents.

Looks good so far that we end up playing the Wild. I like our chances against them and they hoped for more than just being #8 in the end.

Jackets would going to upset the Ducks if they end up with the #2 spot

The Minnesota Wild are putting in an All-Star effort to miss the playoffs and it might just pay off.

Yeo in over his head. I hope the Hawks play them. 2 years in a row the team started to cave in as soon as a couple injuries started. If Chicago thinks they have big problems at center...

Things look absolutely terrible over there when Koivu or Cullen are banged up or out.

CLB wouldn't bug me too much now that Dorsett is gone, I like the matchup for the Hawks but I would prefer Min. Dallas just has too rough of a schedule and losing 1pt last night really stung them.

I don't want to see Torres in the first round, fortunately it seems SJ doesn't want to see Chicago in the first round.

I'll just post here what I posted on our board, and yes, Yeo is in over his head and I, along with many Wild posters hope he gets canned.

Milbury going nuts about Cooke right now on NBCN. Even asked JR if he got a fine/suspended for calling a player gutless as an analyst. He was yelling and probably called Cooke a "skunk" 5+ times.

That trade.....I was not a fan. Kind of an all in a couple years too early. This is what the Wild used to do. Trade prospects and drain the farm for one guy that is OK. I thought they were over that.

Its especially nice to chuckle at this THREAD

The Hawks have been playing outstanding hockey all season long. Its been a lot of fun to watch this team and i couldn't be happier as a Hawks fan during the regular season.

I'm really thinking and hoping we get the Wild. Blue Hackets in 7th would be nice because I think they'd beat the Ducks.

Minnesota has only dropped 1 point to EDM and COL all year. I think they'll take at least 3 of 4 in those 2 games and be fine.

Young teams playing for nothing usually do well at the end of the season against teams focused on the playoffs.

I agree, but the Blues better focus on getting a playoff spot. I know they are very close but it isn't over yet and if it comes down to them needing a point the last game, I don't see that coming easy at all. The Hawks would love to knock them out.
