Looking at who they have as forwards tonight makes me think that this should be an easy loss.

Bobby Butler
David Legwand
Filip Forsberg
Sergei Kostitsyn
Nick Spaling
Matt Halischuk
Rich Clune
Chris Mueller
Craig Smith
Daniel Bang
Kevin Henderson
Austin Watson

Didn't think a new thread was needed at this point as at least 2 of these probably will be back in Milwaukee after tonight's game.

Watson, Bang, Henderson recalled

I started the last two GDTS and had a two game losing streak on my hands. Hopefully we dont get any extra mojo from this nice GDT

On the plus side, all these injuries mean more shirts off the back!

Hope I get another one this season. If it's another Legwand I may kill myself.

This is the most important game of the year.

That is sad.

It's official, these are the two worst forward groups to ever play each other. Ever.

FWIW, optional morning skate today. Lineup expected to remain similar to what it was vs. Chicago albeit Watson will be in and Beck is out...

Sadly we really need to lose this game tonight. The Flames are playing really well with their rag tag line up at least. I hope the Preds play hard but sad to say I hope it's a losing effort.

We have Backlund, Cammalleri, Stempniak, Stajan and Jackman all scratched on forward on top of injuries. I think management REALLY wants that top five pick. Should be a fun game.

If the Avalanche can pull one off and we lose out with Tampa picking up at least a point somewhere...we would be tied with the Avs and lose the tie on ROW and be 2nd pick. We should pull Peks/Mason midway through the 1st and give up a few goals!

My vote would be to put Mason in there and only allow him to use half the pads he generally uses. He will be out there dodging pucks instead of saving them but it would look the same to most people.

That lineup has me disgusted to be a Flames fan. They should be issuing an apology to the fan base for not even trying to ice an NHL team.

Hi Pred fans

In case you were wondering, yes:

Baertschi-Reinhart-Cervenka
Hudler-Horak-Aliu
Bancks-Byron-McGrattan
Hanowski-Street-Jones

Giordano-Carson
Brodie-Cundari
Butler-Babchuk

That's the worst roster the Flames have ever iced. That team wouldn't be out of place in the AHL. They might finish 1st in that league. Might.

So basically this is a preseason game? A few vets littered with AHL prospects/scrubs? Wow. Pathetic. And we're paying good money to see this tonight. Can't wait to yell at the top of my lungs for the last time for six months.

And I think it's funny some guys are trying to make it back for the finale on Saturday. Guys, take the rest of the year off, heal up your injuries and be ready to go for training camp. No reason for guys like Fisher, Hornqvist or anyone else who is banged up to play any more this season. I love the fact that they want back in but what's the point really? The only thing that can happen is bad.
