Yeh, such a tough SOB, probably the biggest warrior in the NHL, I will never forget a few years back when he played through having a bloodclot in his ankle...

I wonder how long he was actually injured.

Would love to see how Mason would hold up vs a top team like B's with this defense ?

Did it happen at the practice where Briere and someone else (Grossmannnnnn I believe?) got injured?

for tonight.

For the last two games, we really should rest Luke Schenn, and give Konan a look.

Gervais is out for the season with a torn rib cage muscle or something similar.
Kent Huskins is close but not ready for this one so it's either Lilja again or they give Konan a shot.

The injuries that I recall this season:

Timonen was actually injured in the California Tsunami a couple weeks back...

...Never heard of the California Tsunami?

Yea, you can thank Kimmo, and his right foot, for that.

We can keep the thread active with such continued thoughts from earlier in the season. I'll revive one.

Kimmo Timonen was hit in the face by a puck, the puck got eight stitches.

Out of curiousity if anyone else on the blue line goes down. Who would be the next callup?

Holmgren would be suiting up to play on the blueline.

Kimmo Timonen has never required a vaccination. All diseases fear him.

Huskins could be available following tonight's game. Lilja and/or Konan could possibly be scratched tonight.

Like I have stated before. I have never seen a season where the Flyers have been rocked by injuries to one position and that does not include Pronger. Hurry up 2013-2014!

It's just crazy. I'm hoping that whenever this team is ready to compete we get some good luck with things. I think those two things will have to coincide anyway

09-10 Goaltending could come close. Emery comes in, he gets hurt. Boosh comes in, he gets hurt. Leighton comes in. Emery comes back, hip goes for good (or not, apparently). Leighton back in. Leighton gets hurt. Boosh finishes season. Boosh gets hurt. Leighton back in. Meanwhile, Backlund and Caron make sideshow appearances. Backlund might have even played 2ish games, I don't remember. Oh, and then Leighton apparently is hurt again at some point too. He just doesn't say anything about it.

Backund payed. Yeesh I remember when people were outraged that he wasn't our starting goaltender.

I had hope for him until that season. If there was ever a time to take the job, that was it.

Wait...did he get hurt too? I think he might have been hurt towards the end of the season.

Edit: can't find anything, but I did learn that Boosh started the season injured, apparently. So Boosh started that party, not Emery.

Kimmo Timonen went out for a drink. The bartender tipped him.

Kimmo Timonen stays in shape in the offseason by pulling the ozone hole shut.
