Sounds like you are older than me...I'm 49...my early hockey favorites were Beliveau, JC Tremblay, Gumper, Danny Gallivan. Outside of hockey earliest memories were Beattles, Elvis, Classius Clay, Man landing on the moon. This trip down memory lane makes me think what a great time to grow up a Habs fan.

FWIW, I doubt you're over 35. I'd say like 33. I may be wrong but I don't see it. Is that wrong or right?

Wow. Lots of you guys weren't even born for the last cup.

While many were in pre-school or grade school.

I was in high school in 1993.

I'm 29. I remember the 93 cup run and staying up late with my dad watching every game. Don't recall the 86 cup though. My 2 year old memory was a little weak.....

They were great, especially when skiing.

Remember the shirts that were 'hypercolor'? They would change colour when you would put your hands on it. I think they cost 50$ for a t-shirt (which was a lot at the time) and I definitely rocked one.

Isn't that the nature of maturity though? It's achieved with age.

I'm not saying there's no exceptions. But generally speaking...

That said, I'm 28. I didn't care much for hockey back in 93. I was pretty young and my father didn't follow the Canadiens.
