the wheels of your member name; the shiftiness of Reijo Ruotsalainen; the ability to block a punch like Darren Langdon; the heart of Shane Churla and the punching power of Nick Fotiu.
From one Ranger fan to another, be safe and be well. And if need be, give em hell!!!
I wish you all the luck man. Your a real hero in the US. Hope to have you back in the US soon and back at the Garden so I can shake your hand. We will keep you updated.

Darren, These guys will keep you updated on the Rangers. I'm an Isles fan checking just want to say Thank You for protecting our Country. Please stay safe and healthy this goes to you and all our soldiers over there. God bless!!

Agreed. This is a case where it doesn't matter in the least about team preferences.
OT: It always pisses me off when athletes say "This is war' and stuff like that...What the **** do they know about war?
Darren, best of luck to you. I am not a fan of the reason that you're over there or the administration that sent you, but I'm a most certainly a fan of yours. Be safe and thank you for serving.
Every report says that Staal will be given every chance in training camp, but when you look at the numbers it says otherwise. I don't see him making the team unless there are significant injuries in camp or he SO blows the coaching staff away that he forces a trade to clear a space.
You're right about Pock in my opinion: Mike Mottau II.
I'm quite new to the board and don't really know you, but hey, take good care of yourself and see to it that you come back in one piece. Best of luck, and thank you!

Well we had to convoy a couple of times over the last few days, and the route we took just happened to be the main road for the Shia pilgrimage to Najaf (the second holiest pilgrimage of its kind next to Mecca)...Basically we had to drice alongside tens of thousands of young and angry Iraqi men who are unemployes and hate us being there. If I could liken it to anything, it's like having a Yankee WS parade in Boston after we eliminated Boston in the ALCS with free unlimitted alocohol and firearms available to Bostonians. It was crazy..But we nade it back and that's all that mattered...

Does not sound good Darren. Anyway we are all wishing you and your men the best. We're at kind of a lull here with training camp just about to get going--so hang in there and keep your spirits up. Maybe this will be another good year--you can never tell.
Hey guys, hate to be off the topic, but I'm here in Iraq for a year, so It's going to suck not having MSG.
If you are lucky enough to have access to AFN in your quarters, you can catch a lot of games still, bro. Some MSN broadcasts, a ton of Fox Sports broadcasts (FSN and FSR really do their best to support the troops), and NBC's games usually roll around 11 PM on Saturdays. I think every Ranger game I saw was an MSG broadcast. The playoffs will be covered well, too.
I'm spending my second hockey season over here so I feel your pain. At least I was home in time for the Canes to win the Cup. Good luck to you, Baghdad has been a bit too hot for comfort lately so hopefully the bad guys will learn some common sense and like, uh, stop being bad guys. We can only hope, eh? If you have a hard time getting some stuff (doubt it, that PX at Camp Liberty is sweet) let me know, I don't mind sending stuff in country to people. Magazines, movies, tv shows, toiletries, whatever. I have a ton of comics I can send if you guys are into that.
