He can't. Wasn't on clearing day roster like he'd need to be to play I believe? And even if he can, he won't because his condition on signing apparently was being w/ LA this year to burn a year on his contract.

Pearson and Kolomatis scored for Manchester. Ty Rimmer was in goal. He's a goalie the Monarchs signed out of juniors to fill in for the injured Peter Mannino
Norfolk didn't choke as bad as the CT Whale did. CT was 9 points clear of Manchester with 6 games remaining and was in 6th in the East.
Manchester has been basically in elimination games the last 2 weeks or so, so I think they are more then ready to go.

It depends on if he signed his contract before or after the Clear day rosters were released.
If he signed after then he would be able to play. There is an exemption in the Clear day rules for players that sign an NHL contract or PTO after their college or junior season ends.
If he signed his contract before Clear day then he would not be able to play an AHL game unless it met the emergency conditions (I'm assuming something to do with being unable to ice a full roster.)

Small enough benches? They're packed in there like sardines.

And Ebert has 7 points (2+5) with a +8 rating in 7 playoff games with the Reign. What's even more impressive than that is the fact that he's still 18 (turns 19 next month). Very impressive showing by Ebert.

Wow, that's good to hear. The kid really fell off the map in a short amount of time, so when Dean grabbed him with the last pick, I was really intrigued. Couple that with the Kings track record of developing defensemen, you might just have yourself a steal.

So I paid a ton of money to get AHL Live for the season to watch the Monarchs, but it doesn't include the playoffs. Now they want $10 per game for the playoff games. What a joke. I will not be purchasing that ripoff again.

Monarchs are down 1-0 in the third.

Bro, l2livestream. I've seen some for Monarchs games before, although they were mostly during the lockout. I'm sure there are some available.

Extensive highlights of last night's 2-1 OT loss to the Springfield Falcons. Brain O'Neill had the lone goal for the Monarchs. Falcons lead the best of 5 series 1-0. Game 2 is today at 1pm PST.

Reign come home down three games to two against the Steelheads -- games Six and Seven (if necessary) are at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

Monarchs lost today 3-2 in OT. They Falcons lead the series 2-0.

The Monarchs have kept the games close. But, it's been clear that the Falcons are the better team. They've really shut down our top players. Guys like Vey, Pearson, Kozun, and Weal haven't done much of anything.

And the Reign have bowed out, losing Game Six at home to the Steelheads. Idaho will face Stockton in the Western Finals, after Stockton knocked off the regular-season (Brabham Cup) winners Alaska.

Monarchs were playing very undisciplined in the first two games and it cost them. I think they will edge out with a win on home ice today.
