Devils only fell out because Brodeur and Kovalchuk missed significant time. They're a much better team than the teams currently in 7th/8th/9th place. They just happen to be very centered around a few key players.

Maybe to start, but Price bounced back with a few good saves. The Elias goal was a terrible play combined with a nice shot.

Gotta love how, essentially out 3rd and 4th line were our best lines. Everyone else still plays a regular shift.

Desharnais was great in the faceoff circle. Every where else... Not so much.

DD extension, Moen 4yrs contract, Bouillon extension... I'm sorry I know you guys all have a major HARD ON for Bergevin but these 3 moves are utterly retarded.
Subban not signed long term because he wants to see what he's like in the room but these roster ghosts are given 4 years off the bat! yay

If we get swept, I would not call the season a ''huge'' success.

The worst part is the Bruins are practically BEGGING us to take the division lead and we've completely outsucked them.

It agree, but it would be a mega success if we had 3 compliance buyouts in the summer instead of 1.

??? From THIS game?

Well, there goes any chance at the division, I can't believe how many chances we've had - it's absurd.

Isles get a point, now need Leafs to somehow **** up and lose. Isles need to get past them.

I want to see Bergeron talk about Moen even though he didn't play.

Who is looking forward to Gorges's press conference?

Only goal that I hated was the 2nd. Not because he was weak on it.. but because Groulx teaching him to do that crab **** on the goalie annoys the **** out of me. It's wrong on so many levels.. it needs to be taken out back and shot.

Not only is it exposing the top half of the net, his skate is on the inside of the net, so instead of planting into the ice and using his leg strength to propel him laterally if need be, he has to rely on the net, which does not transfer enough power. Also, since both of his legs are folded like that, it takes a split second longer to get back up into the ready stance, which is all you need to be behind on a cross-ice play or a quick shot.

Terrible strategy and Groulx needs to scrap it asap or he won't be coaching for much longer.

Desharnais already took his bridge contract. The four year deal was his fourth contract with us.

Plekanec was horrible tonight right up there with Desharnais man was he awfull tonight.

Yeah well just 2 more losses and you lose the 4th place good job habs. Man it's hard to cheer for them right now, they just seems heartless. Funny thing tonight only Price and Gorges seemed to care.

Split up the ******* Desharnais line already it's putrid in the d zone.

Markov is slowly becoming a liability in his zone i'm starting to think it was him that made Emelin look bad.

No if we lose in the first round this will be a lost season. Drafting 25th and doing nothing in the playoffs.

maybe its not to late to trade DD in the off season. Since his new contract he has sucked big time.

This game was close at least. I am dreading the playoffs though.

Really? This team is far beyond where a any of us thought they would be. They spent most of the year near the top of the conf and part of that at #1.

At the beginning most of us said we would be happy to make the playoffs. They have done that.

Sure it would suck if they got swept but I still believe this would be a successful season.
